GRS 8PF-8 8" Paper Cone Foam Surround Woofer

Bought this to replace a speaker in an old bass amp. The bass is great and the sound quality is good. Great value.

Been playing this thing hard for over five years and it still sounds good. This is not a subwoofer more like just a loud speaker that sounds really good in the right enclosure.😎

Bought 2 to replace speakers in 2 Fender G-Decs which are nice units but have really cheap speakers (in a Fender product???). Fit perfectly-standard 4 hole, just had to remove the spade clips and solder the terminals-though I also added a tweeter and a crossover (also bought on line). Very impressed with the sound -- both low and mid end. Very heavy magnets, Surprised how little these cost especially since there are some very expensive choices out there.

For the price this speaker will produce sound as intended of course, but distorts at relatively low levels.In retrospect, I should have spent more

Recording Studio DIY usage — I've never used this as a speaker: bought this for one purpose — to use it backwards as a DIY "sub kick" microphone. Soldered on a mic cable to the terminals, and I place it in front of the kick-drum in our studio drum-set. It captures the lows perfectly! helps my recordings of the drum-set sound even beefier because this acts like a microphone that ONLY picks up the super-low frequencies of the kit.

These speakers were installed into a pair of Boston acoustic floor speakers cabinets to replace the badly damaged originals. They produce nice crisp sound and good punch on the lower end. I am very pleased considering the modest price. I strongly recommend these for those on a budget.

SOUND QUALITY IS HOT GARBAGE

For the price, these woofers work way better than expected. Highly recommend.
