So I have been struggling with what is the best fly and mosquito deterrent for outdoors that is safe for outdoor cats and critters. So many options I experimented with and they all failed. I love sitting on my back patio with all the blooms opening but getting eaten alive and the chance of west nile they carry (a neighbour living one house away contacted this and passed away). plus the squeeters attack the cats and we know they can transmit heart worm disease.I finally saw these and the great reviews. I can honestly tell you I noticed an immediate disappearance of mosquitos. I have a small open patio and light only one, and prop in one of my plants on my table where I sit. I swear I have never been so amazed at how fast it works. I will be buying more of these as I am sure I will be using constantly. The burn time is typical of incense burn time so the longer you want to be outside, the more you will need to burn these, I suspect. I haven't timed how long after they burn out, do the squeeters stay away.

I use these in a basement entry where flies and mosquito tend to hangout. These worked so fast and has been keeping the entryway clear. I'm not sure how long they burn but the scent will linger so I guess that helps too. I will keep using these in that area.

I know for a fact that Citronella is the best mosquitoes repellent, I have always used the body sprays and now I'm in love with these Incense sticks. They work just perfect to keep them away and I really enjoy the smell. The sticks are really large and last a good while burning. This are great! I'm so glad I ordered these. As soon as it gets humid in the south, the bugs get terrible especially the mosquitos and "no see ums." These work great and last about 20 minutes each. I light one or two sticks for a good coverage whenever I'm sitting outside for effect bug prevention. They work well to reduce the mosquitos from swarming me when I'm outside. Each pack has 100 sticks for a lot of use. These are a life saver if you spend time outside where there are lots of flying insects.
