Good options, a bit of limitation
I partly love it and partly don't. I do love its portability, the self charging case, and that it's an all-inclusive arrangement. One large "egg" to go. It has the power to stimulate muscle contractions and with a little work at adjustments, cause muscles to tire, thus releasing some of their bound-ness.While it is adjustable for varying intensity between the two pads, it takes a learning curve (for me anyway) to get it right and then remember how or what I got right. There's some coordination between setting the unit itself and setting the hosts, which snap onto the pads. Some people will adapt to this more quickly than me. For me, that setting curve causes me to pause and think whether I want to mess with the setting or use my hands or hand tools alone, rather than tens stimulation. I seem to recall a more powerful unit in a chiropractor's office some years ago that stimulated with less of a pin-pricking sensation. That unit would probably also cost hundreds to thousands of dollars. The pads being reusable and replaceable is a plus. You can keep a supply of them. You can recharge this in a hotel room or probably from a charging brick if camping, etc. It was most challenging for me to use the pads in the trapezius area, the upper back, under the neck, on two sides and get it to work out evenly. Mostly a placement issue when no one else is available to place them. But that's also where I want to use the unit most. No fault of the unit.Unless you spend a whopping amount of money for a professional tens unit, I think this unit can be helpful. I agreee with others who note that it does shut off sometimes before you're "done" and that can actually be discomforting and inconvenient to need to fire it up again. I'm still pleased with it and I think the price is fair. For some reason, likely as I've described, I don't find myself reaching for it and I wish I liked it more. For it's price in May of '25, I think it's good.

Easy to use!
It's nice to have a TENS unit that isn't a big contraption with multiple wires and an impossible number of pads to keep track of. This unit was easy to use, and it was the unit of choice when we went traveling. It does the job well.

MSGRE TENS Unit - Wireless Muscle Stimulator for Pain Relief
I had recently tried another wired TENS unit, and that was my first experience with one. This one is overall much easier to use and more convenient compared to the wired one, but the cost was a loss of features. While this one is compact and wireless and has several settings, it does not allow for as many pads to be connected if you are wanting to use it on several areas. I found the controls pretty straight forward and easy to use, but somewhere I missed that you also have to press the center of the little disk to power them on. I thought I had a dud and I kept adjusting the controls, then when I finally figured it out I had it set on 9 and WOWZA that was a bit of a jolt for a minute HAHA Luckily the controls are right there in your hand and easy to back off. It did feel very good on my muscles and I think it actually did more for my knee issues than the other one did! One thing I did NOT like is that when I peeled the pads off half of the adhesive stayed behind. That was a mess to clean up, but acetone nail polish remover took care of it. I also think there won't be much "sticky" left for the next time. There was an extra set of pads included so hopefully that will help too. I have some conductive gel coming, hopefully that will help with it sticking to my skin. I also wondered how difficult it would be to find replacement pads for this and did a quick search, and I'm happy to report that Amazon sells several brands of them, so that won't be an issue. Overall I really like this little unit, and if I had to choose one over the other I would pick this wireless one! Recommend!

It's okay but not a favorite
I have several TENS/EMS units. The big advantage of this one is that there are no wires connecting the electrode pads to the controller unit. It really is completely wireless. And the compact case keeps everything conveniently in one place until you need it.But whereas most rechargeable TENS/EMS units in this price range can run 4 electrode pads at a time, this one can only run 2. The package does include two more electrode pads but that's only for replacing them; you still can't use them at the same time as the other two pads. Another disadvantage is that you have to manually press the start button in the middle of each pad controller for it to start working. So if you're by yourself without anyone to help you, and you are attaching it to, say, your back, it may be easy enough to slap the pad on but now you have to manually connect the pad controller to the pad's 2 magnets and then press the button in the middle of the pad controller just to it on. The third problem I have is that unlike other TENS/EMS units in this price range, the main controller does not show the frequency or pulse rate of each mode. So you're forced to experiment with each mode and intensity, which can be very uncomfortable as you discover just what each mode does and how intense the levels are. It doesn't really allow you to customize anything based on whether you're going for pain relief or muscle rehab. And finally, you can't control the length of the session as you can with others in this price range. It's 15 minutes, period, then it shuts off. You can get about 5 or 6 sessions before it needs to be recharged for 2 hours.I'm still undecided about whether being completely wireless and having a cute little case are enough to make up for the lack of features compared to others in the 35-40 dollar price range.
