Moisture’s the greatest enemy...
Have bought this product for last seven years. It’s an absolute must for hearing aids- aids last on average for three years if worn continuously. The medical insurance industry only reimburses wearers for new ones every five years which is unrealistic/stupid.Position your aids with the canal sides down to the unit’s bottom before turning on. Make sure to change the Dry Brick every two months and wipe the inside tray after each use. You’ll see moisture collect after each night especially in a humid climate where I live. Found this type of gentle heat without the extra UV lamps works best. Other dryers with lamps I’ve used got quite warm and caused discoloration of the ear molds.Best aid dryers I’ve seen are vacuum/desiccant models by Jodivac, like my aid tech uses. They’re pricey at $699+. Use a small, sealed vacuum pressure/drying covered bowl and desiccant without high heat. Wish Amazon would carry them again- my aids are a lifeline for everyday functioning. Only other vendor who carries the Chinese Jodivac wanna be is Ali Baba. Chances are they’re probably all made in Asia but I’d rather deal with Amazon’s excellent return policy...Amazon link - Jodi-Vac Jodi-XL with Air Pressure Hearing Aid Vacuum System

easy to use, seems to make a difference!
I've worn hearing aids for 20 years and never knew about portable dehumidifiers. An online video wised me up and I knew I needed one. I've had no trouble with the push button on-switch and decided I don't need to turn it on every night. It's my regular, closed case when I'm at home. I open the battery doors of my aids all the way when I power up the Zephyr for overnight use.No way did I intend to use only the Dry-Brik II that came with it, and I was frustrated by the lack of a good picture of where the Brik sat. Did it snap in? Would the Zephyr function without the Brik in there? Happily, it sits on top of plastic supports and there's no connection to the power source. I'm 2 months over the throw-away time, but the unseen water-absorbing balls within the Brik still shake freely, so I figure they're still functioning. When I do toss it, I intend to use small, transparent packets that change color as they absorb moisture. That will be a fascinating experiment.

Daily Dryer
I am bilateral implanted with cochlear implants and need to dry my processors at night . In doing so, it’s helps with the life of the processors. I was implanted 10 years ago and have used this dryer the entire time. After 10 years it still performed perfectly. That was until my puppy got a hold of it , and chewed the power button off. Of course I purchased the exact same brand as the last one lasted me a decade. The dry is small, and quiet and comfortably holds 2 CI processors.

problem with incorrect adaptor
My husband had an old one and i recently replaced it with the same model. HOWEVER despite it saying it was for the US, the plug was not for use in the USA.. I had no idea i would have to pay to get the right plug after paying $80+ for the unit.

Very easy to use
Simple setup effective working mechanism and automatic shut off. Dries hearing aids pretty completely and under 2 hours. And I build a lot of moisture into mine because I'm in coolers and freezers all day. Highly recommend the product.
