This dipping sauce is on the sweeter side even though it's supposed to be a mix of sweet and savory. I can easily taste the miso flavor; it even reminds me a bit of the hoisin sauce both in flavor and thickness consistency. I didn't taste any spice or heat level to it at all. Since it was sweeter than I liked, I added a bit of soy sauce, and the resulting flavor was actually very similar to the hot pot restaurant sauce I was trying to assimilate. The end result was perfect for my spicy hot pot meat!

Tasty stuff!! Used for potstickers.

When I heated it in my cooking it lost color and turned a sort of dull pink. Taste best right out of bottle.
