Great for my use
Perfect for my needs. Good quality, shipped well and I think they’ll last. I don’t think I’ll need to replace the filters, I’m using them in a clean room environment. I’m using them to stop a wipe, rag or loose piece of plastic getting sucked into my fan. My air flow dropped by 100 cfm, I was able to increase the fan frequency to compensate. Great functionality and ease of use. It’s a little less than 8” which makes installing the wire ribbed hose much easier. A true 8” union is very hard to install. I’m using it on the intake side.

Leaks air around hatch door for filter
Did not use. Air seal around hatch door which allows removal of filter does not seal well. Hot air blowing out around this hatch door

Exactly what I had in mind.
i think this will work out just fine for my laser "ventilation/filtration" system I'm building. I may be buying a second one
