Best Bang For Your Buck
I purchased this DAP to play FLAC files in lossless format. For $30, this DAP punches well above it's level. Sound is loud and strong with no need for a headphone amplifier. Very pleased with the battery performance.Limitations: 1) This player will not play 24-bit/192kHz files or higher resolution audio. 2) The USB C charging port does not support a headphone amplifier or other connectivity. 3) It is NOT a touch screen, requiring use of the navigation buttons, and I find myself touching the screen in my attempts to select playback options. For the price, none of these limitations are deal breakers.I'm extremely happy and I accept the limitations of this unit. It is a solid FLAC player with support for up to 128MB Micro SD expansion. Very pleased and surprised.

Worth the investment
I really enjoy this product it is compatible with my Bluetooth earbuds, has great speaker volume, is portable very slim, and came in a decent amount of time. It is easy to set up however I had struggled initially trying to transfer my music from my laptop to my mp3 at first but I did eventually figure it out. I use it to disconnect from my phone more and not have to use it first thing in the morning so the alarm feature on the mp3 is great. The only thing about this product is that if would’ve been a lot better if it came with some kind of protective case because due to it being so slim and small in size I could see it being broken if not careful. In reference it is almost the size of my earbud carrier

Exactly as advertised
Works exactly as advertised. Was looking for a simple mp3 player that was NOT a smart device for my kids. I wanted them to have their own music players (especially for car rides) but didn’t want to give them something with a screen, apps, games, etc. This has been perfect. Only downside is it cannot be used with streaming services, so you need to buy mp3s to download and put on it. But I feel it is worth it, since all the devices I looked at that work with streaming services are way more expensive and are basically smart devices.

Another small MP3 player I must return...
Like all of these new cheap, Chinese MP3 players, they have all this other crap we don't want/need. FM Radio, Car Washer, Picture Reader, Brush Cleaner, uname it!!! I just want a darned MP3 player for my father-in-law that will hold several MP3 files, play them on shuffle - WITHOUT - having to step through 500 non-intuitive menus, and then START where it left off when turning it back on. But, NOPE. This will be the third MP3 player I've ordered and will need to return, as after putting in a micro sd card and copying over several songs, you must step through MANY steps EVERYTIME you turn it on. Music, select Card directory, press shuffle, then press the upper right button, then select shuffle again, then press it on, then rinse, then wash, blah blah blah blah blah blah. SO FRUSTRATING. Turn it off at night, charge it, and the next day - start all over again. Try showing an 80 yr old man the menu steps he has to make to GET the damned thing to SHUFFLE his music... I bought this unit, as it has a speaker. Old people don't do earphones well.... **Sigh**. Sending it back..... NOTE TO CHINESE MP3 MANUFACTURERS: Make an MP3 Player that just plays MP3 files. Doesn't have an FM radio and a bread maker included, and DOESN'T require 900 menu steps to get to the music and shuffle the songs...OH, and make sure it has a speaker... Many older folks don't like earphones... I KNOW I'M NOT ALONE IN WANTING A PLAYER LIKE THAT!! :)

works with some quirks
This works but didn't meet my expectations due to the varying sensitivity of the screen, which could be a one-off issue, and how the power button was just too tricky to use. In my opinion, a power button should do one thing in a definitive way and this one seemed to require a timed press, which I couldn't seem to get right, again, this may have been this one unit. Bluetooth paired successfully to bookshelf speakers, and didn't seem to drop, though I did not try it in an auto. The screen was bright and clear and the unit is light and charged quickly and accepted the memory card easily.

Battery life is pretty good
My newborn had a hard time sleeping without some background noise, so my husband and I were constantly losing our phones or leaving a computer on all the time. We started looking for a device that would be strictly for him and found this one.The external speaker quality is actually pretty good for the price. I'd rate it a 4 out of 5. Little muffled and certainly not high def but it's still fairly clear overall. The touchscreen is a little annoying in my opinion, always make sure you have the thing locked else you risk changing all the controls but it functions as expected for the product. The battery life though... this thing lasts us through every nap and the entire night through. I think we've gotten 15ish hours (possibly more) before we have to charge it. And it only takes like an hour to an hour and a half to get back to full charge. So we pull it in the morning once kiddo wakes up and it's generally ready by his next nap (usually about 2 hours later)Now you can only upload stuff via computer, so definitely keep that in mind, and we haven't tested the sound quality with earbuds, but overall I'd definitely say you get your money's worth.
