Excellent watercolor complexion kit
This watercolor kit was recommended by an instructor to me for painting faces. The colors dry quickly, look great, and can be mixed for endless complexions. The kit is also easy to use for travel as it is hand size.

Great
I really like the quality, the tin is perfect for travel size and there are mixing divots. Perfect for wedding guest portraits or any on the go projects !

Good but the gold should be replaced
I’m a semi professional watercolor artist and bought this for more easy/fast natural tones (although I do love mixing my own colors). Just opened it and painted the swatch card- The colors are really well pigmented although need to test overall aging in sun etc. HOWEVER, the gold…. No idea what’s going on with it- the texture turned chunky right away and doesn’t pick up the pigment. Wished they would switch that for a different color in the palette. It’s not good.

First purchase from this brand
This is a great collection of unusual colors not found in other sets. I did the swatches on the card that came with it. The paper of the card is a bit odd, but labeled and I am too lazy to make something else. I use a lot of water when I paint, so I did the same in the swatches. I do like the diversity of the "complexion" colors even though I probably won't be using them for people. Animals and birds are more my thing. Looking forward to adding this set to my collection. I don't yet know how they are to paint with. I put a fine point sharpie pen in the picture for size comparison. The tin it is in is a nice little feel good treat. Nostalgic. Besides, the enamel doesn't stain. That's a plus. Overall, I am pleased so far.

Great little palette
I'm so glad I bought this. They have a good variety of shades and undertones so you can achieve a pretty wide range of skin colors. The only thing I'd change is maybe replacing the sparkly gold with a midtone red shade so I can achieve deeper blush tones for darker skin. The gold isn't bad by any means, it's just that it's not really a complexion shade. However I still really like it and use it for accents sometimes. Luckily I can get put a dot of my own red in the lid so it's no big deal.As for the paint quality, it's really nice. The colors wet quickly and are very pigmented. They're not chalky at all either. Definitely recommend this to people who have trouble mixing skin tones or simply want a dedicated complexion palette.

Fun Little Set, Creamy Colors
The pans are a little strange and working them is a little different than, say, cotman colors or something similar. That being said, I love this set. It's the first prima set I've bought and I love the range of colors and how creamy the paints are.I haven't yet had the pleasure of using sennelier's l'aquarelle or holbein colors yet, but I can say that after these, I was disappointed with how my winsor & newton cotman pan set (one of my regular go tos) moved around the page compared to these. There was no comparison.I did feel that these were more opaque than not, but that's what I prefer with paints. You might find other brands more to your liking if you're into translucent sets- like the cotman tubes.
