These really work! The drums were just too loud when practicing in the house. These dampened the sound just enough.

These little dudes do what they say and say what they do, I love them. Would be cool if they were a little quieter, but that's probably asking too much, you're still banging on things with sticks after all. They are quieter than nothing--you get a modest thud rather than a loud clack, and I worry less about putting dents in things. Being able to travel without carrying a pad around is great. I keep sticks with these on in my backpack now, as well as the car, so I can do rudiments at random moments if I have time to kill.

These are great. I play on a practice pad and with these on my sticks it's very quiet.

These are quieter than hitting my edrum kit with bare tips. The bounce is much worse than with bare tips. They do not fit snugly so the feel is a bit off. But I think the life of the mesh heads and the overall volume level will be lower.

My grandson has taken up the drums(it wasn't my idea). I bought his several different sets of sticks to use in band. My daughter is do happy I also bought these dampeners. Not as much crash and bang while he is practicing.They fit perfectly on the various size tips.They have held up well in the last 9 months of constant use at home.
