Very good for the price
Battery life is good, rechargeable batteries are a must anyway.A bit loud in small spaces, but the speaker can be easily muffled with tape, in large spaces the noise is not a problem. The laser gun's 40 meter accuracy was pretty accurate.

Brilliant Christmas present for boys.
Excellent Christmas present for kids, can use indoors or outdoors, range is limited enough so you'll need to get close for the kill. Good fun for all the family!

No need to aim to hit target
I bought this for my 9 year old son as a Christmas present. Arrived in a box resealed with tape as opposed to sealed wrapping which was not a positive sign. The guns are bright and feel acceptable quality to hold given the price. The charging caddy feels cheap but functional. Guns have their own charging holder, targets attach to flimsy wires. Power is provides via the included USB cable to DC type attachment but you have to provide your own suitable USB A charging source. The whole set charged up in about 3 hours but some gun charging indicator lights seemed vary between red and green through the cycle, making it difficult to work out if they were genuinely charged. Eventually they all remained on green.Set up is very easy, including pairing the gun with receiver and assigning it to 1 of 4 team colours. Targets have an elastic velcro strap that you can attach to yourself however you like. They are not padded but comfort isn't really an issue for short games. You can set the number of lives each player has and reset once they run out. Each gun has multiple weapon modes with sound effects and more powerful weapons take more life points but need reloading more regularly. The 2 games we played ended rather quickly with everybody quite surprised how quickly the lives went down. The following day when things were a little quieter we had another look in more controlled conditions. It was clear the guns did not even need to be pointing at the target to score a hit. At a distance of 2-3 metres I scored a hit pointing the gun at a 90 degree angle to the target (tried different directions). At a distance of 4-5 meters, a hit was scored pointing the gun at a 45 degree angle. At close range a hit could be scored through a wooding door or pointing the gun in the complete opposite direction to the target. This product has a large number of very positive reviews so I am unsure if I was simply sent a defective product but on the other hand this did not just affect a single gun.Obviously I wasn't expecting commercial grade laser tag but some vague degree of accuracy is needed for game enjoyment.Product therefore returned

Brilliant!
These are such fun. Got for my son's 7th birthday and we have played non-stop.You can re-issue your own lives, which makes playing a 'serious' game hard as you can keep adding lives, but playing with my 7 and 5 year old is great fun!
