Bought these recently post the LAfires' incidents since we recieved a "no drink" notice from the municipal water department & since i did infact notice a change in color from out of our bathtub spout.[it was dark/ashy lookin' pressumably from experiencing low pressure as per the notice,so it was alarming to say the least] They are certainly made ready to preform their purposes but I would appreciate it if the sellers of these products were more, idk how to say this--perhaps "sensible" is the word: about the performance aspect of the product they provide & its "how to" work them. For ex; instructions state to submerg but not shake off the leftover/rendering water(presumably to not cross contaminate ea. Square test) but if you dont shake it off <properly>, the excess water bleeds over onto each anyway, leaving space for inaccuracies do to the testing properties of ea square.I did the slightly more timely/tedious process of "dripping" droplet/s carefully onto each Square so as to heighten those accuracy probabilities & it seemed to work in a more reassuring manner as it was noticeable that they wouldn't be bleeding onto eachother.I did water from a spring water bottle, my tap water & water filtered through a reverse osmosis system. Reverse osmosis was the most relatively clean/safe from my findings & im happy to be able to see a comparable difference between it & what is unfortunately still not the greatest quality running through my apartments pipes. [That is, what it is:*shrug*]..the bacterial tests were a cool "add on" <since they only provide what looks like 2 on the box>, but there's essentially 2 in ea bag[4 sheets total] of the exact same testing type of material (this blue paper) & again, instructions suggest that you simply pour water to what seems like less than a cm degree into the packaging bag it comes inside off & pretty much use up the whole 2 sheets, when you can surely break the sheets down into straps, submerge those really well in your own <clean/sterilized baggie> & recieve the same kind of "bacteria" results through this test type. I will double back in 48hrs w/ comments on the efficiency of my results. Pretty good/effective kit, overall though I'd say.

Good test kit for the money.
This was a good kit for the money, but I will say that I did not understand how the chart on the container was supposed to match the test strips. So I had to guess because they did not line up. However, all tests showed that we have a middle level of water, not soft but not hard either. There was kits for 3 different types of tests. Worth the money.
