I'm so glad I found this, I've been trying to emulate Chinese takeaway satay for years. This is it, so so good. Makes the perfect beef satay. As good as any takeaway. Try it, you won't be disappointed!My advice though would be to YouTube some recipes for it to get you going and give you an understanding on how to use it etc

Ok I used to work in a Chinese restaurant many moons ago as a student and they had this stuff on the shelf. Never sold it in a dish on menu, just the staff used it to cook meals. Close to 30 years later I have finally found the 'black Malaysian' sauce I've wanted to find for years. This sauce is the absolute #@%$, if you are looking at this now just buy it. Amazing with rice noodle dishes, Malaysian curry dishes. It's just great and so full of flavour. Will be making many more purchases cos I love this stuff it's so damn good. FYI a little goes a long way as too much tastes quite salty. If your allergic to peanuts don't buy lol but that's the spicy taste profile!

Encouraged to buy this by a fantastic youtube channel I expected big things, especially after reading reviews here too. Its alright. There is nothing wrong with it. Ive only ever used one other sate sauce jar product, made by a very well known 3 word manufacturer, and it was better. Jimmy's is slightly spicier but not as tasty imo, not worth the extra expense.

Saté Sauce can be used as a dipping sauce and also in marinades and stir-fries to flavour various foodstuffs such as meat, vegetables, seafood and noodles. When used in cooking should be added near the end, when the food is almost ready.

Teaspoon of soy & tablespoon of sherry. Mix all together ' stir in meat & marinate for minimum- hour.
