Its like Melatonin on steroids. Works well helping me get a good nights sleep.
I used Melatonin for years off and on. It helps but it seemed that it was just not working as well as I've gotten older. A friend of mine put me on to the IR.XR version and I'm so glad that he did. I have been very happy with how much better it works.

Works well!
I had a sleep study and it was recommended that I use a time release type of melatonin, rather than the regular kind. This worked too well for me! I took it at 10pm and it took until 2pm the next day to get over the grogginess. So give yourself plenty of time for sleeping. But I am sensitive to meds and supplements, so it might be just fine for others. I guess I need to get a time release that isn't as strong.

Works Great
I love the fact that this melatonin is extended release, and is designed to help you stay asleep for 7 hours. I find that it is effective, and it DOES help me stay asleep for 7 hours. Most of the other extended release melatonin only says it works for 5 or 6 hours. That is why I went with this one. I only wish that it came in a larger strength. I am supposed to take 10 mg a day, so in order to get enough dose, I have to take 6 of these a night, plus another immediate release 1 mg. Because I have to take so many, the bottle runs out really fast, and it can get expensive.

Great for falling asleep quickly.
Product works great - too great. My doctor said to use it 3 times a day. I became very tired during the day. I fell asleep quickly but woke up several times during the night and couldn’t fall asleep again for 1/2 to two hours. It’s probably great for some - just not for me.

Doesn’t work better than 10mg melatonin
Bought this after seeing all the great reviews hoping it’d help with staying asleep and wakefulness during the middle of the night. Been on generic melatonin 10mg for ages which works for falling asleep but not staying asleep. Was hoping this would help with the staying asleep part but it didn’t.
