Overall - it's a lovely drink (if made right) and it works, you get a good night's sleep.I had been drinking Pukka night latte, but I had found the bag to be way too expensive for the amount of servings. I discovered this sleep drink when searching for the Pukka drink. I decided to give it a go, with the idea that if it was indeed gross like some people thought, I would just keep it to add to smoothies.I was expecting it to be horrible but it's actually really nice once you get it right (right milk, right amount of powder, stirred in properly). I went to make my drink tonight and had forgotten I had ran out the night before - I was gutted! That's how much I've grown to love this drink, I've now ordered my second bag.When I first go the mixture, I played around with serving size and milk type and worked out that these things made a huge difference to the taste. I found it tasted quite yuck, when I used (Koko) coconut milk and innocent almond milk (really gross), but when I used barista style oatly milk it was delicious. I struggle with the amount of oats I tolerate so I ended up using 70% oat milk and 30% Koko milk and this worked well. You get a nice creamy taste from the (oat) milk.Now for serving size, I found that one slightly heaped tea spoon of powder worked well in a mug full of milk, but when I used more (a large heaped teaspoon) it wasnt as nice. The more power, the more overpowering the taste, the clove and Steviareally come through and it's not that nice. But just a slightly heaped teaspoon works best.Then you need to make sure you mix it properly, you need to add some hot (not too hot as the packet says too hot, can cause the minerals in the drink to become distoyed) water or milk to a mug with the power and work it into a paste, until it's smooth, then slowly add in the milk whilst stirring. You do still get a bit of sediment at the bottom of the mug but I find it helps to give a little stir every now and again as you drink, so you keep it mixed. This means you get the least amount of settling of the mix.I found once I had got the perfect recipe, I found I really enjoyed my drink each night and my sleep has improved.I actually thought that I wouldn't like this drink as I can't stand the taste of Stevia (even pure Reb A quality Stevia), but with he right amount of powder in the mug I found it didn't bother me. It's also a slightly fruity drink, which I wasn't sure I would like as I wanted something more malty and sleepy drink like (eg like horlicks etc). But I found I've really grown to like it. I was impressed with the amount of portions I got out the bag, especially as I played aroind with the serving size for the first week.It's completely diary free which is great as I can't tolerate dairy. But if you can, then I'm sure it would taste nice in normal milk.I do highly recommend this drink, I would even say that if you didn't like the taste you could get away with adding a spoon of cacao powder to make it more tolerable (but just be aware that cacao had caffeine in and can cause some people sleep disturbance).

I have all varieties of the Hion powders and thought I would try the nighttime powder. There are a number of serving suggestions however all taste vile and the powder does not dissolve even when blended in a nutribullet, it foams and then lumps reappear as soon as it settles. The idea of the powder is great & the one time I forced myself to drink it I slept well however I cannot use it in its current format. Such a waste of money & a big disappointment

At first, I was honestly a little bit skeptical because this product only had 5-star ratings and I just thought.. could it be true? Could it really be that great?I bought this product not because I particularly had trouble sleeping, but moreso because I was curious about trying Ashwaganda. I heard this particular herb is supposed to help with hormone balance and stress, and since it was on sale, I figured it couldn't hurt to give it a go.I don't notice a difference when going to sleep; it doesn't seem to make me fall asleep faster, but as I said, I didn't have a problem with this. I did notice, however, that I sleep through the night- where previously I would wake up a couple times to use the toilet. I've also had more energy in the day.Unlike other reviewers, I actually hate the taste of turmeric and think that this blend tastes pretty terrible on its own, especially in lukewarm water. But if I make myself a hot chocolate, (or hot carob to avoid the extra theobromine), by mixing some non-dairy milk + water, cocoa or carob powder, and then add the powder, it's actually quite pleasant. I think that'd be my only complaint which boils down to personal preference.I also wish that this didn't have the stevia added (I heard from a few sources that stevia has affected some people's periods), and I rather sweeten the mixture myself when I'm in the mood for a sweeter drink, but luckily it's not overwhelmingly sweet like most other supplements.The company is also friendly, dispatched quickly, and very professional. So far I've ordered 2 more of these as gifts and I've been recommending it to all of my friends, too.
