Durable and will last a long time.

I bought these for the KORAD KA3005P adjustable power supply that I also purchased recently. Good quality and easy to use. They work well and fit nicely into the ports of the korad. Worth the money.

Quality test leads at an affordable price

These test leads are good value for the cost. I purchased two sets and all of the test leads measure no more than 0.2 Ohms end-to-end. The listing implies the wire jacket is silicone; I’m not so sure, but the jacket is nice and flexible at room temperature. The alligator clips at the business end of test leads have well made finger guards and the clips have strong springs that give excellent hold. The length is about one meter and all the test leads in the kits are the same length, within a a few millimeters of each other. Now for the caveat: these test leads are meant strictly for low voltage applications. The plug end of the leads does not have an insulating sleeve, so attention to safety should be exercised. Do not to leave the leads connected to a device under test, while not connected to an insulated instrument input at the other end. The loose plug ends could short together or leave voltage exposed. The clip jaws are partially exposed and the finger guard has a small air gap between the guard and the wire jacket. The best use would be automotive diagnostics, or hobby work with Arduino breadboards and the like.Provided the user is conscientious and uses these leads in a safe manner for the intended purpose, these test leads are very good value.

Good overall value and quality

These clips use a thicker wire than the J-hook clips, which makes them useful for power supply leads. The banana clips use the spring loaded expanding variety where the spring part floats on the central pin. This means the plug can rotate slightly without loosening in the barrel. The alligator clips align nicely and have good insulation all around. They stack well and retain in the barrel of a bench supply, even with another clip stacked on them. If you've had experience with banana plugs, you know they can be hit or miss, these definitely fall into the former category. My only criticisms are they could be a bit longer, 1M seems like a lot until you have a bench supply sitting above the bench and the wire doesn't quite reach. I think 1.5M would be a good compromise between too long and not long enough.I realize these are marketed as "meter clips" but the wire gauge is appropriate for power supply purposes, so I think these are designed for that purpose. The J-hook variant are definitely smaller gauge and designed for much lower current carrying needs, get both to cover all of your common uses.My recommendation to the seller: Put together a package of 1.5M clips with the alligator and J-hook, with larger silicone jacketed wire and sell them for $35. Include some sort of cable hanger/manager to hold them when not in use, and you'd have a great product.

Good Cables

Nice cables for use with power supply and for multi-meter. Seems to be well made and long enough for ease of use. No complaints so far and I have used them on both my power supply for electroplating and on my multi-meter for electronics testing.

Built in alligator clips to banana jacks - where were these years ago!

Worked in test lab years ago and you had banana jack cables (banana plug on each end) and then slip on alligator clips that fit onto the banana jacks. Can't tell you how many times the alligator clip came off the banana plug. I frequently recall squeezing the alligator slip on part so it would stay on the banana plug. This design solves that problem for good!So far these have worked great for my electronics projects. I definitely should get more as a set of 5 is pretty much the minimum you will want to have. If connecting signal generators, bench multimeters, etc to breadboard projects you'll want at least 10 of these. They easily handle the few amps I need for power supply connections and I like how they feel more flexible that ones I used in years past. Definitely what you need for an electronics workbench.

Excellent test leads!

These are the best I've found! However, the spring in the alligator clip is very strong, which is very good for the connection - but hard on fingers. If the round part of the alligator clip's molded handle had a flat outer surface, it would make them much easier to use. The 5 colors are very useful, although I'd like to have a 6th color, especially white. If you do much with electronics or electrical, you know how much time can be wasted with unreliable test leads. These silicon test leads are very flexible, yet provide solid and reliable connections - while being reasonably priced. They are rated at 1000 V, which I assume is AC. I've used them in short-term, low-current tests at 2000 VDC with no problems. I haven't used them past their 15 Amp rating, and don't recommend doing so.

Great alligator clips, won't ever buy another brand

These are far superior to the ones that you find everywhere that are basically clones but sold under different brand names. For one, these use fairly thick copper wire that is low resistance. The average clips I find are between 1-2 ohms while my multimeter isn't precise enough to accurately measure the resistance of these, so they're much closer to 0. In addition, the banana adapter is superior as it isn't loose in the socket at all so it won't come loose accidentally like some of the ones I've had in the past. You can also stack the banana side so you can run wires of the same voltage to multiple parts of a circuitHowever my favorite part about these, which is why I bought them, is the actual alligator clip. Almost all of the alligator clips you'll find use this soft silicone material that's slippery around the clip, and it makes it hard to open plus it might slip off and they're overall just a hassle to use. These use sturdy plastic that doesn't move around, and opening the jaws (which also use a stronger spring than others) is easy because of the hard plastic and metal.Overall I have zero complaints about these and they are totally worth every penny over other cheap ones.
