This remote did exactly what it said: connected to my Samsung TV in seconds, no setup nightmare required. Buttons are responsive, layout’s intuitive, and it feels solid in the hand. It’s not backlit and doesn’t have fancy smart features, but for the price? Totally worth it.

Works good enough. Connected fast and easily to my LG TV. My only complaint is I find that I have to mash the buttons 2 or 3 times. It's slow and laggy but works in a pinch.

This was easy to set up and worked right out of the box. The problem is that there's an input lag when pressing the same button repeatedly that's really obnoxious. For example on a smart tv if you have a row of apps and you're pressing the right arrow to navigate over you can't press it repeatedly, you have to press, wait for it to register, then press again, then wait for it to register. This was also the case with the volume, you couldn't just hold the button down to change the volume up or down faster.3 stars because it does work, and if you don't have a smart tv it's probably fine. But I'm going to get a different remote.

I can only speak to daily function because I did not set it up. My tech person (daughter) set it up with a click or two in about 30 seconds. Have no idea what she did, but it looked easy. It was purchased to function with an old, not smart Samsung TV given to me to use with my Roku Express. I just needed the off/on and the volume control. It has worked perfectly, and allows me access to both my Roku and my DVD player. I do need still need the Roku and DVD remotes, but I am fine with that.

This remote is great. Nothing to figure out. It just works with all the tvs. Love it

Got the black remote quickly, but know that it didn’t come with batteries like most new remotes do. That being wholesome I found it to be thin feels like it’s made with cheaper quality materials. However, it was pretty easy to get it set up to work with my tv. Overall, for the cost, you get what you pay for.
