Worked Perfect!
The media could not be loaded. I bought this to use when changing the thermostat on my 2016 Jeep Wrangler. It worked perfect all the air bubbles came out the system was filled up. The jeeps are known to be finicky if you don’t get all the air out, they’ll overheat.Comes with lots of components and adapters that I may or may not ever use. It’s gonna sit in the box in the garage until I need it again.

Burping The BMW E46 . . .
This kit is sold under many labels. They all, more or less, contain the same equipment, but none specifically addresses the BMW E46’s Expansion Tank. However, with patience and tenacity, bleeding can successfully be accomplished. The key is mating the E46’s Expansion Tank with the Threaded Cap D. The threads on the expansion tank are course. Cap D’s threads are fine, but can be coxed with the aide of an application of Silicone Paste and a firm grip on an HF Holt Self Adjusting Oil Filter Pliers.Select the Threaded Cap Adapter E for Ford to gingerly mate the Cap D to the E46 Expansion Tank. The expansion tank’s plastic is harder than the Cap D’s, and with the aid of the oil filter pliers will screw on without damage to either. Using a back-and-forth motion, take care not to cross-thread. When the cap and adapter are snug, stop cranking the cap down.If you are an E46 Fanatic, the oil filter pliers are probably already in your toolbox. The E46’s Expansion Tank Cap can be a bear to remove. Burping/Bleeding was successfully performed on a 2001 330Ci and a 2003 325i using the Thorstone No Spill Coolant Funnel Kit.To the eagle-eyed E46 Fanatics: I refuse to pay premium for the BMW ‘Blue’ coolant. 😎Updated 16 SEP 2023: Replace the Threaded Cap D with a modified E46 Expansion Tank Cap. See pictures 2 – 5. This mod was done with a one-inch spade bit on a metal German Auto Solutions Cap. The mod should be easier using the standard plastic E46 Expansion Tank Cap. It totally eliminates the need for the oil filter pliers.Ya’ll Have a Great Navy Day 😎

Worked well on my Jeep
I had to add metal washers or spacers to get it to seal on the radiator opening and it still leaked a little. Big rubber washers might have worked better. May just be an issue with Jeep Wranglers. However, it DID eliminate the air in my cooling system and end the overheating issue. The trick is too really elevate the front of the vehicle with jacks or ramps. If you pay a lot more you might get more parts for adapting it to more radiators. I was happy with it.

A must have for radiator filling/flushing
One of the most annoying things about repairing vehicles is dealing with filling a radiator. Especially after it has drained down. (IE Water pump, new radiator, new hose, etc.) The fill hole is generally small so it is hard to pour a one gallon container right into the hole without spilling. (Especially on imports.) As the radiator heats up the fluid expands and runs out the hole. This set allows you to fill, burp, and monitor a cooling system without spilling radiator fluid everywhere. It has a big clear funnel that attaches to the various radiator caps that fit most cars. So now the fluid either drains from the funnel or if the fluid expands goes back into the funnel but not onto the radiator then onto the ground. Their is a funnel plug so when you want to remove the funnel, you put in the plug from the top, now the funnel end is closed off so it does not spill what is left in the funnel on the radiator then onto the ground. These are my new go to for any coolant system work.
