Great no nonsense coffee grinder.
We have a coffee machine and we're bought some beans in error so had to buy a grinder as we didn't wish to waste the beans. I didn't wish to pay much as I was unsure wether I would get on with grinding coffee beans. The grinder is cheap, easy to use with a simple removable bowl which locks into place like the lid. It has a timer enabling you to change the coffee grind time/ grain size. I automatically assumed I would need the maximum grind time for an espresso machine but I found the coffee puck was too dense and it did not allow the water to brew through the bowl easily. I settled on about 25 seconds for an ideal grind. I was surprised how quiet the grinder is considering the job it has to do which was a bonus. It is a very good looking unit and blends in well with our other black kitchen appliances.Only time will tell regarding durability but we registered the grinder for a two year warranty. This grinder has now opened up a new facet to coffee brewing and also grinding our own spices for cooking. All in all we are very pleased with our purchase.

Very glad I went for it
So, I don't know if you have noticed but it's really difficult to find grounded coffee for expresso machines at any supermarket... and since I was getting frustrated with having flavourless coffee, I decided to get a grinder myself and start making my own ground coffee..I went for this one you see up here, and what can I say, being satisfied doesn't even start to describe how I feel. This tiny, yet powerful machine is ideal for grinding your daily coffee beans. I love that it has a timer, so all you have to do is put the beans, press a button and go do something else until it finishes (which is also good because it guarantees that you will never overdo (or under-do) it.The brush is quite convenient to help you clean the machine, and the removable container makes it easy to handle once the grinding is done. So, of course, I recommend this product! the price-benefit is spot on, and you will start getting the coffee you deserve!(p.s.: coffe beans lose their flavour really soon after being grounded, so that's just another reason why you need this little fella!)

Good product and excellent customer service
I bought it to grind my coffee beans and I can say it does the job really well. The feature that I like best is the timer so you can set how how fine you want it to be. Also very convenient for spices because of the 2 and 4 blade cups.Update: the timer stopped working after 10 months. it just kept on grinding, the machine wouldn’t stop until you unplug it. But because the product has 2 year manufacturer warranty, I contacted them and they sent me a replacement item right away. (IMPORTANT: you need to register your product with the manufacturer on purchase to activate the 2 year warranty). The customer support was very responsive and the whole interaction was hassle freeRated 4 stars because of the fault in the product after 10months of use

Ignore the coffee police. This grinder is excellent.
I sat in a cellar bar overseas some years ago, listening to a man go on and on about how to treat and use cigars. After waffling on for about 30 minutes, he proceeded to light his own cigar with a zippo lighter, which is one of the biggest sins in the cigar world. The point being, the coffee police will tell you that you should not even touch coffee beans unless you are going to grind them with a conical burr grinder costing several hundred pounds. Thankfully, if you are reading reviews of this SHARDOR Coffee Grinder, then you have a bit more common sense and refuse to throw away money. This grinder is excellent. It produces a consistent grind, looks very smart in any room and has an excellent safety system. It is also easy to clean, due to the removeable grinding cup. The cup and lid work rather like a food processor, in that the cup and blade twist-lock onto the motor, then the lid twist-locks over the grinding cup. Unlike other coffee mills, including the world famous Krups F203438, you do not need to keep your finger on the grind button and count the grind time manually, you just set the time on the rotary dial and press the button once, the SHARDOR will do the counting for you, then turn off. I mention the Krups on purpose, because at the time of writing, it is by far the most popular electric coffee mill in the world, and is also a blade grinder just like this one. So perhaps if you are ever talking to a coffee constable in your kitchen, and they start belittling your coffee mill, just smile politely and mention that fact to them. Or make them a cup of tea instead. Your choice.

Excellent product
My husband does a lot of spices grinding and found this product very good. Managed to do a fine grade powder of seeds. He is very impressed. Would recommend.

Broke after 5 months
Either the lid close detection or the start button broke but it only starts grinding one attempt in 10 now so it's useless.

Well built grinder that does its job
The media could not be loaded. This is a good grinder that's easy to use and even easier to clean! I was able to grind enough beans for a full 10 tablespoons of grounds when loaded to the max line on a medium grind. The grinder functions on a timer, as opposed to somehow measuring the size of the grind. The marks on the timer provide a rough guide that more time will result in finer grind. It takes a bit of trial and error, but if you set it lower you can always grind for a few more seconds to get a finer grind.Once done the cup separates and can be quickly and easily washed. Same with the lid, if you care to was it. If this is a single use, same coffee, all the time, there's really no need to wash it every time. This grinder is as quiet as a grinder could possibly be. We have a bin type burr grinder that is several times louder than this one. This is quiet enough to grind coffee in the morning without waking up the house! The machine is well-built and that includes some rubber feet to keep it on the counter and deafen the sound.I think this is a quality product that seems well-built, and I expect will last.
