Q: is this safe on glass cooktop no scratching?

while I have never used it on a glass cooktop , I would think it is safe, since it does not scratch surfaces. I have used it on painted surfaces including a car without any ill effects and a cleaner result.

Q: Love this stuff! Became addicted to it while living & sailing in the Caribbean but is this price for one?

This stuff is amazing! I used it for everything while living in Argentina. Not sure why they don't seek in the US. Yes, Thai so the price for one unit.

Q: Does it clean off gel polish stuck in pants ?

No. Paint will never come off once it’s imbedded in the he fabric especially if it’s not watercolor paint.
