Naturtint Strengthening Shampoo, 330ml

Have been using this for a few months now and my hair looks much better and nicer. Seems to have got a bit denser.

I have a lot of very fine hair and thought this would be just the ticket. Perhaps my expectations were too high or I misunderstood its brief but it just seemed to make my hair floppy. It became a bottle that sat on the shelf for a long while. I did use it up though.

Although I don't believe a shampoo can stop hair loss nor strenghten my hair (vitamins and supplements in general are made for this) - I think this doesn't either cause further damage to weak hair.It's very delicate and doesn't contain silicones nor SLS which usually dry my hair a lot.It's quite runny, super easy to rinse, and leaves my hair clean and lightweight.Subtle scent.

Reviewing such a thing as a shampoo can be difficult as I think it is a personal thing, depending on each individual's hair type and likes/dislikes. I have always had fine hair, and in recent times it has started to thin out, so I always use a hair thickening shampoo and conditioner to give it a feel of fullness and shine, and I have tried various brands with varying degrees of success before settling on one or two regular ones. Having never heard of this particular one, I was happy to give it a trial.It is manufactured in Spain, comes in a nicely designed cherry-red bottle, and has a faint fruity aroma. The bottle states that it 'increases hair density' and contains "Maca extract, sunflower and coconut oils, organic cherry, Cranberry and Rock Rose Waters ". Sounds nice but means little to me....though the bottle states that all these things have a thickening and nutritional effect. The test is in trying it out, and for that reason I followed the instructions exactly, which were to apply, lather, rinse and repeat, leaving it on the hair for 1 minute the second time. The shampoo had a thick, quite luxurious texture and lathered well. Easy to rinse out too. The aroma is very faint but pleasant whilst in use, then like most shampoos I have used it disappears once rinsed.I omitted my usual conditioner this time and dried my hair as normal. My scalp felt clean and the hair had a nice shine to it. As far as thickening goes it seemed to be comparable to other brands I have used in giving some body to the hair. This might sound like faint praise, but I have used many shampoos that have weighed down my fine hair or made it feel greasy, and this shampoo does neither of these things so it is a winner on that score.So, would I buy this, or recommend it ? Well, yes, I intend to continue use and would happily buy it were I not already happy with my usual brand. As far as recommendation goes I can only say give it a try if you are interested as that is the only way to see if it suits your hair type and style. It is no more expensive than other similar makes and could well become a personal favorite !

I have fine hair and sometimes suffer from seasonal hair loss; I had a bout of hair loss in Autumn last year and my hair has been recovering ever since.I normally use Elvive Fibrology Thickening Shampoo and Conditioner. I was therefore interested when I was asked to review this product: Naturtint Strengthening Shampoo (330ml). This shampoo is said to have been developed for people with weak and thinning hair, and will create thicker-looking hair with a lasting shine.I followed the instructions and shampooed, rinsed and then shampooed again. I then waited a few minutes, as advised, before rinsing. Ideally you are supposed to used the Naturtint hair mask in conjunction with this shampoo. I did not have the hair mask so I used a keratin-based hair mask (different brand) I did have to hand. I then washed this out, towel-dried my hair before blow-drying it.I noticed that my hair did feel thick, difficult to know if it felt thicker than before though, and that it had a good deal of bounce and shine to it. Tick! It is worth noting that the shampoo smells nice and contains maca extract, organic cherry and cranberry fruit waters, organic rock rose water and vitamin E. It is also vegan-friendly.I will continue to use this product until the bottle is finished and will update this review if my hair does not continue to feel thicker, look shiny and full of volume. At that point, I will also decide if I wish to repurchase or return to Elvive Fibrology, which has worked well for me to this point.I am pleased with the product at present and I am happy to recommend.

I really wanted to like this shampoo as I am all about natural and organic. When I used it for the first time I had a reaction. My scalp was so painfully itchy and dry. I have never experienced something like this before. I don't have sensitive scalp and I have used so many different shampoos which were very heavily fragranced and haven't had any problems. This product has very light and fresh smell. It is suitable for vegans, which is amazing. Contains maca extract, organic cherry & cranberry fruit waters, organic rock rose water and Vitamin E.However the product makes my hair super bouncy and shiny. Such a shame my scalp hate this shampoo.

I used this shampoo after I bleached my hair, it made my hair soft, strong and glossy. I don’t like the scent very much, too strong for me but my daughter loves the scent. Good package and nice package design.
