Shower Filter Replacement Cartridge

I like this filter and have used this brand for many years.

This saved my hair from it becoming dry and broken from hard water in my apt. I reorder every 4 months and it never disappoints!

I have been purchasing this particular shower filter for several years. It helps to filters out skin irritating chemicals. Always had sensitive skin, as I became older my skin became very itchy, the filter really helps, not 100%, but close. It is well worth trying if you have similar problem.

I've been using this brand for several years and I change the filter yearly. The truth is, I don't really notice a big difference anymore. My eyes still sting a little in the shower with or without the filter. It seems a few years back I could tell when it was less effective. Maybe it's my imagination? Otherwise, it is well made and easy to install, I've struggled with others. Follow the directions exactly and do NOT over tighten! Can't go wrong that way. You can always tighten a little more if it leaks when you first install it. Hand tighten is best, a wrench or tool is not better and may crack it. I'll probably keeps using this brand until something really pops up and says "outstandingly better". I use their counter top water drinking water filter and I think it is the best.

I have been using these filters for the past few years and they keep performing well. We have city water and we use the shower filter to give us some extra protection from contaminants, just in case. I do feel like these improve the water quality and leave your skin feeling not so dry. They are easy to install and I just change it once a year. We use these filters in all three properties for which a shower is required. We have re-ordered the filters for several years, and highly recommend them. The most recent property requirement was in a hard-water region and hit by longstanding drought. The pipes were so filled with deposits that within 8 months after our taking the house, our shower was a mere trickle and we were concerned that there was some sort of major plumbing issue afoot. When we took off the New Wave Enviro Shower casing and filter, we found that it had done such a successful job of trapping, that it appeared as if copper wire or a copper scrubbing pad was blocking the filter & casing; this was the discoloration of everything coming up through the county water wells. Once we rinsed the casing and installed our replacement cartridge, the shower was free of any hindrance, and this shortened shower times, thus saving water. Read and compare what the various filters offer in terms of removal of materials not wanted in your showering system. We have promoted these filters to any and all who ask, as they remove the absorption concerns which municipal water systems present on the largest organ of all -- our skin.
