Very portable
I don't remember who I bought this for. I like products by this company and this was a new one on me and it looked just as good as its other products. Each puzzle gets gradually harder so you feel really good completing so many cards. I say it's great for using on an airplane trip.

Puzzles are everywhere
All I can say is get ready to strain your brain. This is a very fun addictive game. You sit down look at the photo and try your best to recreate it.. sound simple enough, but it's far from simple. I found my self trying over and over and over and..... over. But the funny thing is that when people see you doing it they always think they can do it and once they sit down and try, they find their self stuck in the seat trying to figure out how come they can't recreate a simple looking photo. This is a fun & challenging, but be warned if you are some one who gets upset easy or mad when you can't figure something out then it's best to skip this game. But if you like a great challenge & love puzzles, then this is a game for you. You feel like a kid when you finally get a puzzle and when you cant get it and use the cheat sheet you ask your self how come I could not see that. I have to say this is a very fun & challenging game.Product (Does the item do what it says) = ABuild (Material it is made out of) = AAssembly (Putting it together) = N/AYour Friendly Neighborhood ConsumerBK_Shark

Nice game
While this is a nice game, I am not a fan of the small travel bag it comes with to keep your cards and pieces together. The pieces damage the cards/cards box each time you put the game away. Other than that not a bad puzzle to have in your collection.

Challenges your mind
My 8 year old and I played this game and while we were able to get many of the easier puzzles, we looked at the "tips" on the back for several of the other games. It can provide hours of entertainment and challenge you for a while. It does require patience to think through the various pieces and how they can be pieced together to match the objective. I like the bag that contains the game and pieces which makes it great for the car or travel. I would recommend this game for ages 9+.

fun for two
I first found this game at a restaurant in South Korea. I was instatly hooked on this game. My girlfriend loves doing crossword puzzles and sudoku, so when she first found out I had one, I had to get a second one. We usually play sudoku head to head (she was the one who taught me how to play sudoku, I had never even finished one until she showed me how), but we enjoy this one better. We pick a random challenge card from the deck and see who finishes the puzzle first. It way more fun with two. I got the second puzzle from Amazon, which was about $5 cheaper than the one I picked up in Seoul. The deck of challenge cards keeps the game intresting. I don't think I would have kept it longer than a week if it weren't for the cards. All in all it's a great puzzle game.

Challenging and educational
I bought several of the ThinkFun puzzles for my children last Christmas, and they definitely enjoy them. This was by far the most difficult one I have encountered. Some of the puzzles are ridiculously difficult even for me, an adult. Some are very easy and are clearly copies of or inspired by old puzzles that are similar to this one.My five year old son gave up right away, but my eight year old son loved it. He definitely struggled, but I could see he was learning about spatial reasoning. He loves to build things, take them apart, see how they work. This type of puzzle is perfect for someone like him.

More or less
The game is good, I have one of wood and other figures brings her letters. It made me a little pricey for the material it is made. When I'm wrong order and order two pieces, cancel on time according to me but it was not like I went out and return it more expensive to stay in and that part did not taste that do not cancel in time

It was fun in the 60's, now its fun in my 60's
I had a similar toy in the 1960's called the SOMA cube and played with it for hours. It develops your spatial viewing of problems and a bit of logical thinking. This toy is the same thing as the SOMA cube only it comes with a deck of cards that contains 60 3-D puzzles to try. On the back of each card is a solution to the problem. In one or two cases, the 3-D picture on the front of the card doesn't show clearly what the BACK of the puzzle looks like, but this is minor. A wonderful toy that will keep kids (or adults) quiet for a long time. And it doesn't need batteries or electricity. A true thinking toy.

Good experience, but the tracking updates could be better.
Block by Block builds on players’ architectural skills as they combine seven puzzle pieces to construct up to sixty 3D structures depicted on various challenge cards. It features sixty mind challenge cards with hints and solutions, seven block pieces, and game-go storage bag.

This updated version of the classic Soma Cube (seven pieces that represent all possible arrangements of three or four cubes other than in straight lines) helps develop spatial thinking as solvers mentally move and rotate the pieces to form the solid figures on 60 puzzle cards. On the back of each card, one hint shows where three of the shapes go, while another locates the remaining four. Players can choose their own levels of challenge. (Ruth B.
