So I started doing my hair again at home due to the prices and money being tight but also I was paying 250 for color that I was not getting and started to get disappointed at the salon. I'm to the point I just needed these Grey's covered and maybe some other color added. I read the reviews and thought I'd give it a try. Was using the common ones at the drug store but they failed to cover Grey's. Well I can say I am truly happy not only did this not have toxic smell it didn't burn my scalp or make it itchy. I bought the cup, and brush and mixed the color they make it so easy. I applied and waited the 40 mins while finishing up chores. The color is vibrant my hair is so soft and the Greys are gone. Couldn't be happier.Plus have more left over to do it in a month again will be adding to subscription with amazon!!!

Remember to follow the suggested time for processing hair color. If you leave it on too long it will turn darker than you want and it is real easy to lose track of the timing. I do like the ease of application and will buy a lighter color next time and watch my timing!

I love it because it covers the gray hair very well, it is not echoey, and it doesn’t fade fast. Please do not change the ingredients and do not stop making it. This is the best product i have ever used and love so far. Thank you for the best product that you have put in the market. 👍🏼🙏

I love the brand and the hair color, but the new packaging is disappointing. Bottles are not see through and I can’t see how much to use.I do like new packaging for the hair conditioner.

I love it. I have used all the big box brands forever and now that I am pregnant I needed to tone it down because I know I would not be able to handle the stench from the hair dyes I normally go to.I did some research and found this. Not perfect on chemical free but better than most. I put the hair dye on and much to my surprise, was not blasted with a horrible smell. I actually didnt smell much of anything, which was music to my super sensitive pregnancy nose!Much to my also surprise, this covered all of my grey hair, leaving nothing behind. That NEVER happens with multiple other brands. Usually I can find grey somewhere but this time, total, 100% coverage. I would definitely recommend this product if you have trouble covering and keep color in your dark hair. I got the 4C Ash and just love it.There area few downsides, one is that the time this stays in is longer than most other products, its 30 minutes.The other downside is my hair felt like straw when washing this out. I ended up using my own heavy duty repair conditioner and that did the trick.All in all, the lack of horrible stench and the full grey coverage is exactly what I need so I will recommend this product, particularly to those with sensitive noses.

I have tried many varieties of boxed semi and permanent hair coloring kits and this is my favorite one yet. I have curly hair that's on the thinner side and am greying salt and pepper style all over. I dye my hair to cover my greys, not to change the color so I try and find the closest to my natural hair color as possible. With other kits, my biggest complaints were either that the process killed the texture of my curly hair, making it frizzy and drying it out beyond repair or that it did not completely cover my grey. The Herbatint dyes work gently on my hair and cover my greys better than any other product I've tried, all while looking really natural. A couple of things you should know about this brand though: 1) To get full grey coverage, you need to mix their "C" line colors with a matching "N" line. So if you want full grey coverage, I recommend also buying the 5N equivalent of this brand. There are instructions on how to do this, including mixing proportions, in the kit. 2) The colors run pretty dark. My natural color is a fairly dark chestnut (I usually buy other brands in "4N") but this light ash chestnut is perfect for me. The first time I purchased this, I used the 4N and it was FAR too dark and made my hair look pretty much black.

I have been colouring my hair for over 25 years now. This is the most atrocious hair dye I have ever tried in my life. first off, It doesn’t even come with an applicator just two bottles, that you need to mix yourself in a bowl of your choice and you need to have a brush to apply it which is not provided with the packaging. Secondly, expect to get a very dark almost jet black result for people with any type of brown hair. third expect your hair to not be smooth or silky as is the case with first dying your hair. fourth, your hair will feel like straw, will be dry frizzy brittle and shed like crazy!!! I have never experienced a worser hair product in my entire life. Keep far from this product it will do major damage to your hair. I wish I could give it zero stars. It is that bad!!!!
