Basic, as described. Great value for money. Takes a while to charge. Not like other chargers that are compatible with multiple types of batteries.

So I've had a selection of Amazon basics recharageable batteries for sometime, and for whatever reason I had the very basic charger (the one without a screen).I thought that a bunch of the batteries were dying but nope, it was the OLD charger that couldn't charge 1 cell at a time, only in pairs. So if one had depleted more than the other, which ever one got fully charged first would stop the charging.This one, not a problem, you can charge 1 at a time, 2, 3 or 4 - and you'll have an indication for each one. It's a great design that fits both AA and AAA batteries in a neat space saving manner.Simple to use, clear indications on what is happening and has saved me recycling a bunch of absolutely good health batteries.
