This fan blows nice and cool Hàs great power and am very satisfied Works great, good price, strong and quiet, However with every Lasko floor fan I have been buying for decades the Hight adjustment will not hold the desire height over time no matter how hard you tighten it the top heavy cause the pole to slip down a little bit and little over time, so I added a hand clamp and double side tape to it and it has not slip at all

The fan blows well and is easy to put together. The blades are standard size but the housing for them is a little bigger. I'm not impressed because the height adjustment doesn't stay put. If you barely touch the fan just to turn it a little, it will fall down the hole even if it's screwed in as tight as possible. The base is plastic and not weighted. The remote is a plus but there's also buttons on the fan to power it on. There are no snaps to keep the fan housing in but it seems like they stay in place fine without them. Just a tad shaky when you turn it on but the low setting is good enough on its own. Medium and high are powerful and generate quite a bit of air. I just bought a Hurricane last week and it's so much better than this one. It's a 16 inch but it has a weighted base and will actually stay when it's adjusted on its pole. It also has a remote and metal blade covers. All in all, Hurricane is a better option than this one and $5 cheaper. Not sure how durable it is and I don't think I'll find out. This will be returned and I'll purchase another Hurricane. A little disappointed because the one I already have is Lasko and I only paid $20 for it a year and a half ago. Sorry Lasko but for $50 you don't have my vote on this one.

Great fan great price, 3 different speed helps to cool down a room and I love the noise love the remote control and the time set, easy assembly, works amazing. I am currently in the state heat of Arizona and this fan has help incredible.

This fan has a remote control which I enjoy. Especially when you are laying down and if it gets too cold you don't have to get up. 3 speeds, but seem like it's medium, high and higher. I guess it could have a lower starting speed available but I'm not going to complain. Adjustable heights which is nice. And a timer telling the fan when to shut off. Wow, that's something. Now because of the higher speeds this fan does have a bit of a noise problem. And the base platform is pretty huge and takes up a lot of space. I've had now for a month and aside from the big platform and the low speed being very high it doesn't bother me but just be aware if you like quiet this isn't the fan for you. If you have minimal floor space to put this fan on it isn't for you. Pretty easy to use. Everything is what it is at a touch of the buttons on the unit itself or by the given remote.

For an all plastic fan this runs really well. It is VERY quiet! The base is wide helping it to not tip easily. The power switch is in the front (instead of the back like so many other fans!) The oscillation is nicely wide, so as it goes back and forth it provides a nice angle of wind movement. I am sitting in front of it now and it is very pleasant, and does not cause an issue when there is conversation.However, there are a few things I wish were better, such as the ability to lower the angle - it does not bend down far enough for what I wanted, it basically just blows straight out even when oscillating (I hope that makes sense). It can lean upward and blow, but not downward. It does have a timer which is really a nice feature. It is also all plastic, which tells me the longevity is going to be far less than a metal one. The plastic construction does make it lighter but it nearly always means they will die sooner (experience tells me this).This fan was not assembled when it arrived and proved to be a little challenging to get snapped together correctly and securely.
