I have had this kettle for four months now and I am very pleased with the performance and speed that it boils.I was looking for a quick boiling kettle which this does with a 3000 watt rating. I timed one pint of water which is approx half a litre and it took exactly one minute and fifteen seconds! That is for two generous cups of tea or coffee.It looks really attractive on the worktop and it has very pleasing blue lights when turned on.Because of the easy access to the inside I find it is very easy to clean. I just put a centimetre or two of cheap vinegar in and leave it for an hour and the limescale disappears leaving it shiny and new again. As you can see from my pictures it is still free of limescale after four months. I have cleaned it twice since purchase.There is also a small filter that stops the limescale flowing into your cup. I dislodge this and drop it into the vinegar to descale as well.

This is a great kettle although I returned it and bought it elsewhere as it was on offer half price somewhere else.I love that it lights up and is clear glass the water boils very quickly .I would recommend it.

This kettle is fine, we have no issues with it and it is just as expected. However do NOT order on Prime if you think it will arrive next day, it's won't - ours took four days. If we had known, we would have ordered elsewhere or gone to Curries as we were without a kettle and expecting guests.

Beautiful to look at and also when heating and boiling water. Unfortunately after 4 months of careful use, the top/lid became difficult to close (just wasn't aligned right). Then one morning noticed a plastic piece adjacent to the spring mechanism which opened the lid had dropped into the kettle and then could not get the lid to close at all! I did remember reading comments about the lid leaking and/ or not being able to close in Amazon's reviews so decided not to order the same kettle again

Had this product since may and it has now given up. Stopped working. I liked the style and the fact I could see the water was clear. Nice light not dull but not too bright that it hurts your eyes in the dark. Quiet and doesn’t take too long to boil. Only bad thing is after just 6 months it’s stopped working.

It looks good, has a level for 1 cup - so good for economic use - and is fast. It is obviously very easy to see how full (or empty) it is and we love the light when it's boiling as it looks nice. It also pours well with a good spout and the lid opens very wide so it's easy to fill and there are no real chances of being burnt with boiling water droplets. Overall, this was a good purchase and we are very happy with it.
