Great choice in the pricepoint
It holds a lot more than I thought it would, and I had no problem carrying a week's clothes and a pair of shoes. I took this backpack to a national park on a road trip and it did the job perfectly. The shoulder straps may not be as ergonomic as more expensive professional hiking bags, but they are still comfortable enough to justify the price.

The Ultimate Work Travel Backpack – Practical, Professional, and Surprisingly Perfect!
This backpack is AMAZING. It’s exactly what I was looking for and then some. I travel often for work, and I needed something that could hold my laptop and an extra pair of sneakers—but still look sleek and professional enough to carry into the office. This backpack checks every box.It has tons of pockets and smart storage options, with more than enough space for everything I need on a flight—laptop, chargers, snacks, you name it. One of my favorite features is the external charger port. Being able to charge my phone on the go—whether I’m in the air or working in an office—has been a game-changer.I was fully expecting to be disappointed just based on the price, but I was completely wrong! The quality is fantastic, the material feels durable, and the design is both practical and professional. If I could add just one thing, it would be a dedicated sunglasses pocket—but honestly, that’s the only improvement I can think of.If you’re like me and looking for something for work travel, I definitely recommend giving this a try. I love it!

Large Capacity
I bought this because as a control system programmer, I carry 2 laptops, 2 portable monitors, 2 keyboards, 2 mice, and all of the associated cables and power supplies needed. This bag holds all of that with plenty of room left over. I only received it today but everything fits with no problem. I do not yet know about the durability of it but so far it meets my needs and expectations.

So Big
Some luggage backpacks look small enough to be the bag you carry on and put under your seat, but this looks like a full size carryon bag. I think the design could have been better. I am anxious about using it, though overall, I am a fan of the carryon backpacks.

The Swiss Army Knife of Backpack/Suitcases
This is a great backpack/suitcase combo. It’s very versatile giving many options in configuration. It’s well made, has different compartments and also has a built in USB cord connection so you can use a battery pack inside to charge your phone outside the bag. Lots of good features. I don’t fly much so can’t speak to the airline size requirements.

Great product
This product delivers what it promise, and it does holds on a lot in it which can get to be too bulky. The quality is not the best but so far it has been good for my travel purposes.

My review following 2 week European backpacking trip
This backpack is light, solidly built and versatile. I've traveled by backpack thru Europe more than 15x with Jansport and Rick Steves backpacks (both great and well built). This Matein backpack is my favorite. It's the ideal size for me (which of course varies by person), as I've learned from years of travel the invaluable benefit of packing light. Still, this pack easily holds everything I need, including a separate pocket for an additional pair of shoes/sandals.Some reviews in here say the zipper broke on early use, but I never experienced issues with zippers or anything else. My backpack must be durable, as I travel thru Europe by train and to multiple destinations, so it gets carried a lot on my trips and gets a bit roughed up at times. The Jansport pack I traveled with in my younger days was excellent and well-built, but was a top-loading pack, which can be very inconvenient for easily accessing all the contents. Still, I continued traveling with it for years until a shoulder strap broke. The Rick Steves pack, also very well-built, sort of hung on my back like a sack of potatoes. I traveled with this backpack for many Europe trips and its durability and comfort were great. The biggest issue I have with this pack is the laptop pocket is on the outer side (meaning farthest away from my back), which is not ideal for weight distribution, especially for heavier laptops. With the Matein pack the laptop pocket is right against my back, which is ideal weight distribution. This really makes a big difference when carrying the pack for extended periods. Backpacks get heavier when carried for extended periods and in hot weather as you become worn out and tire (more reason to pack light!). I thank Rick Steves for helping me learn to pack light. This Matein pack is soft-sided with more firm corners and adges, which gives the pack stronger form so it doesn't hang on me like a sack of potatoes. This is one of the benefits I really appreciated, along with the location of the laptop pocket and the fact that it fits in the overhead bin on flights (never waste your time checking bags). For a traveling style that requires a backpack to be both durable and comfortable, this is a good one. It also has an outside handle to carry it like a suitcase with the shoulder straps easily tucking away into their own pockets.Given all of that, I've only traveled with this pack once for two weeks, jumping on and off trains (sometimes several times a day), and it performed very well and exceeded my expectations. It handled very well my somewhat rough and rigorous travel style. Most people overpack. Consider what backpack size you need and always aim to underpack - your future self will thank you!
