These are really nice towels and yes, as new towels, they will have lint as all towels do. To me, it's certainly not an extraordinary amount of lint, but what I do is when I do the first wash, before I even put them in the dryer, I shake them out outside. That gets rid of some of the larger pieces of lint. Then after I dry them the first time, I use a lint roller to eliminate some of the lint pills. Then I wash and dry them at least 3 more times before I use them. I still take them outside and shake them out after they come out of the dryer just to keep getting rid of lint. I do this with all towels no matter what brand or where I bought them. I bought the dark gray ones as well as the aqua ones and I had no issue with discoloring at all. In all honesty, pictures of the towels with discoloring here on reviews really looks like bleach or something (or fake reviews). I also had no issue with them falling apart. I bought a different size of this same brand of towels back in 2017 and I'm still using them and they are holding up well. I have no complaints at all and I did get lucky when I went to buy them that they had a lightening deal on the price, but I would definitely buy them again even at full price. The other thing is, I am very picky about laundry and I would never in a million years wash new towels with anything else, so I feel bad for the person that washed dark blue towels with whites. I'm just not sure why you would do that ever. I wouldn't do that after years of having dark towels--towels are ALWAYS washed by themselves--ALWAYS! People who wash darks and whites together just don't know how to do laundry and doing that makes your clothes look bad. Don't do that!

Towels are nice size and soft. I actually even used one without washing first and wasn’t covered in lint like some towels do when you first get them. They’re thick but don’t take forever to dry. Can put them in my dryer with a full load of clothes and they come out dry. Have had them awhile now and have washed them plenty. They wash fine aon normal cycles and the size is still the same as when I first got them. Really happy with this purchase and the quality is great for the price. Couldn’t ask for more out of a towel.

I'll start with my main concern. I've washed and dried these 4 times now and they still shed fibers all over my tub and bathroom. I'm over here raising my water bill by washing them a fifth time. Just trying to get them to stop shedding so much. Its annoying me at this point. In that aspect they seem cheaply made.For everything else: These towels are thick and heavy, the color is fine. I would not say they are soft or rough. They are like any average towels when it comes to the texture. Im a bit disappointed because I was trying to spend the extra few bucks to get "premium" towels. I thought they would be very soft by the description and other reviews. They absorb fine in my opinion.

These towels are a classic case of "you get what you pay for." They're okay, but that's about the highest praise I can give them. If you're looking for something basic and functional without breaking the bank, these might fit the bill. However, don't expect to be wowed.My main gripe is their thinness. They feel a bit flimsy, almost like a step up from a paper towel. While they do absorb water, it takes a few more passes than I'd like to get completely dry, and they just don't have that luxurious, plush feel that truly great towels offer. If you're used to thick, fluffy towels that wrap you in comfort, these will be a noticeable downgrade. They also tend to wrinkle quite a bit after washing and drying, so if a crisp, neat look is important to you, be prepared to do some folding right out of the dryer.On the flip side, the price is decent. For what they are, they're not outrageously expensive, and if you need a large quantity of towels for a guest bathroom, a rental property, or just for everyday use where durability and absorbency aren't top priorities, they're a reasonable option. They've held up to a few washes without any major fraying or falling apart, so that's a plus.Ultimately, these towels are just passable. Why did you pick this product vs others?:Ordered these twice in grey. I really like the color and the first set was very soft and absorbent. I decided to purchase again about 6 months later but the second set looks good but it feels different. I immediately noticed a difference after the first use when it took multiple passes to dry myself. As other reviewers have stated, its almost as though they are coated with some kind of water resistant compound. Trying to dry my hair after a shower is almost comical. 5 stars for the first set, 3 stars for the second set averaging out at 4 stars combined. Not sure if the new towels will become better with use. They feel nice and soft but fail at their job of drying you off after a shower. Very disappointed in the second set. To the manufacturer: please review any changes to the manufacturing process in the past 6 months or so and revert back to the old quality of the towels.
