Good
Not sure about the pH indication as you need an accurate water hardness reading to use it , and the water where I am is very hard .But on the flip side was very good indicator for the Co2 levels in my fish tanks . Too high a level of Co2 isn't good for the fish . Has a very clear indicator for the Co2.So to sum up Co2 indicated is great PH indicated not so good but PH is easy to just test with a strip and doesn't very like the Co2 can .

Requires additional materials to work
Doesn't work. After following the instructions, I placed the required drops into the test capsule and a month later of thinking the co2 levels are being monitored, I now learn that this solution requires an additional 4 dkh standard solution to work - otherwise it will permanently measure 'low co2' even when the tank is so saturated the fish are gasping for air.

Value for the money

Give it a miss....get a glass drop checker instead.
It takes FOREVER to change...if at all. The hole that comes in contact with the water is too small meaning reaction time takes too long.I used the supplied indicator fluid in a regular glass drop checker and that changes to lime green within 3 hours. The JBL checker took 6hours and was still green in the morning after CO2 had been off all night.Wouldn't recommend. Oh and you have to shine a torch on it to accurately read it.
