expensive but well worth it for kids and adults
These are a bit expensive but they are worth it. That being said,I have to admit I have bought 9 so far... they are fairly small but I use them for the adults and the kids so don't just think of them as sauce cups. I use them for small measured snacks during the day (I take 2 or 3 of them with some pieces of dried fruit, peanuts, pistachios (couple of good mouthfuls in each one) but I do the same for my toddler aged children. I pack snacks in them for them as well and they are just the right size for a small snack instead of handing them a big bag. Think outside the box a little and things like 4 ritz crackers (perfect for a couple of peanut butter crackers) almost like they were made for them. 10 cheez-its crackers, a little handful of diced dried fruit or fresh since they don't leak etc... they are perfect, seal tightly and are very well made. most importantly to me, they are supposed to be 18/8 stainless and solid. Kudos to lunchbots for using an actual commercial grade and quality stainless. Many are a cheaper, less durable grade that will rust if your not careful and if your not careful will actually leach metal into your food (especially anything acidic). I'm willing to pay a little extra for better quality and something that really should last a lifetime (the rubber seals won't but we'll see). I did find that a magnet will stick to some parts of the container but not all, likely something to do with the manufacturing as it's rolled which may create a bit of a less than even distribution of the materials. Haven't actually done the vinegar test yet (pour a tbsp of vinegar in your "stainless steal" vessel and let it rest for a few minutes - if it tastes like metal - well, metal will leach into your food most notably things that are acidic. high quality stainless will not produce a metallic taste at all.Dear lunchbots - make some bigger ones, please... like a 3 or 4 ounce version.

Perfect size for toddler treats
Got these to keep some emergency cookies for my toddler. Perfect size to hold 4 pieces of Gerber's Arrowroot Biscuits lol. Or other small munchies without being broken/dispersed in my purse (fine, it's a fanny pack not a purse). The lid is somewhat soft, flexible - perfect for what I need. It closes/opens without much effort. It holds liquid tight (I can put water in it and shake w/o leak) but wouldn't dare putting liquidy stuff like ketchup and toss in my bag. It holds liquid in while the lid is closed, but the cap will probably easily come off when tossed around.

Best small dressing containers
These don't leak, are easy to clean, and make bringing dressing on the go a breeze. I love the srainless steel quality.

I still continue to try and love these, but sometimes they are just a pain ...
I still continue to try and love these, but sometimes they are just a pain in the rear. The size is great, cleaning is a breeze, they fit nicely in the bento containers, BUT...they don't always close correctly. One of them just refused to close so I emailed the company and they promptly fixed the situation (which I appreciate). It appears to have something to do with the rubber rings that seal the lid to the base. Sometimes they seal in nicely, other times they don't want to play (slightly annoying). Present day, I don't fully trust them with anything liquid, just in case. I do however use them for everything else; nuts, berries, granola, seeds, etc. While berries can produce juice, it wouldn't be the end of the world if that leaked. Salad dressing however, would be a total mess. I will continue to use these and haven't found anything else on the market that works better, just wanted to share an honest opinion for those who may be considering these for liquid uses.

I love the LunchBots Dips Condiment Stainless Steel containers!
I love the LunchBots Dips Condiment Stainless Steel containers! I hand wash them, so don't know how it would hold up in a dishwasher (states that it is dishwasher safe). My daughter has been using these for about a month now and they have held up perfectly. I like that it's stainless (not plastic) and environmentally sound. I have not packed liquid items, so don't know if they would leak or not (they state they are leakproof). I was concerned about my daughter being able to open and close the lid. There has been no issue with this. The lid is easy enough for my 6 year old daughter to open and close (even if I struggled the first time!). The lids twist on and off. Once you know that, they are easy to open and close. These food containers are a bit smaller than I expected. I'm OK with that. They are 2-inch diameter by 1.5-inch high (each). The capacity is 1.5 fluid ounce each. So, it like the diameter of a 50 cent piece. We packed pepperoni in it (so she could assemble a 'pizza' at lunch). Worked perfectly for that. It's a bit too small to use for grapes or raspberries or strawberries (you could fit maybe 2 grapes in a container, or 2 raspberries or 1 strawberry). With all that, we still love these food containers and if I need more, will buy the LunchBots brand for sure!

Excellent alternative to plastic!
As a person that hates plastic, I have loved these containers for my girls school lunches. We've used them to store Oreos (oddly a perfect fit), fruit and liquids. As advertised they don't leak. The lid fits securely yet is easy to open. Made of metal, they a durable and never stain like plastic containers sometimes do when storing acidic foods. We've found them very easy to clean in the dishwasher as well. We liked them so much that we added more to the set. I hadn't heard of this Brand before, but I will buy from them again. Highly recommend to my fellow consumers looking for a good plastic alternative!
