this is my updated review: I found a previous bottle of these I purchased from same supplier and then I am noticing the taste is very different in the new batch, I would say less flavorful

Tastes Just as Good as the Restaurant
This is a good value as the container is quite large and will last quite a long time. The sumac tasted fresh and was ground. If you’ve never used sumac before, it is a reddish orange colored spice that is used often for seasoning in Persian and middle Eastern cuisines. It has somewhat of a salty sour flavor to it that tastes delicious when sprinkled on cooked chicken and rice. I enjoyed the taste of this particular brand and find it is the exact same taste as found in the restaurants that have it on the table with the salt and pepper. I am happy with this product and would order it again.
