YnM Minky Duvet Cover Weighted Blankets (48''x72'') - Pineapple Print

Okay...I have been a little disappointed in the lack of options for weighted blanket duvet covers in general.I let that disappointment lead me to a cover that was about 7 dollars less than this one initially, and that was a mistake. The ties were low quality, and the blanket kept bunching up inside. I only ended up using that first cover for two days as it was also made of polyester and was miserably hot.I decided to get a new one, and chose this one for several reasons. YnM is basically the industry standard for weighted blankets, it was listed as a cotton cover, and it was priced in line with other manufacturers.I just put in on my blanket when I got home from work, and it's great. The ties are much more sturdy, it's incredibly soft on both sides, and it has a really cute design (and I'm a 30 y/o woman 😊).I actually decided on this one specifically because I'd heard good things about YnM (though I got my blanket from another company) AND I was able to choose from different colors and designs, something I would not have been able to do if I got a competing brand. I didn't know what to think of the mermaids until it arrived and worried it would be too juvenile, but that is not the case!When I navigated back here to leave a review, I discovered that this same cover is available in pink plaid, and since I love this one so much and I'll have to wash it, I'm pretty sure I'm going to get one in pink!As a side note, my blanket is a 15 lbs 60x80 blanket, and I'm even considering getting a second blanket by YnM to get me through the upcoming Wisconsin winter.Absolutely phenomenal quality. Already in love with it, and the dogs are too 😉

Actually is cooling and makes my blanket feel lighter while still applying that pressure I need. I also have a minky cover for winter time and the difference from cozy to cool is incredible. Worth the extra $ to go bamboo over cotton.Soft, airy, almost silky

Only reason this duvet gets 4 stars instead of 5 is due to a small design flaw. Let me start off by saying I love the pattern on the duvet and the fact that it's reversible. The striped side has a wonderful fleece feeling. The solid gray side is somehow softer than fleece! This side also has a raised button look to the design. Now to the design flaw, the zipper only opens a small amout of the seam, which makes it hard to get the weighted blanket, I have a 20 lber, in and tied to the corners. Due to the weight it's hard to arrange the blanlet inside the duvet properly so that you can tie all 4 corners. Additionally, due to the weight I wish there was more than 4 areas to attach the 2 together. I think that would make ir much more secure. But all in all I really love this duvet.

Mixed feelings about the cover. The zipper to open it, only covers 1/3 of a side. Made it very hard to get the blanket attached. The tie down spots (4 corners, and a extra on each of the long sides. Tie down spots do not hold very well, found it coming untied many times. Blanket has loops on it, the cover has laces to tie then down. Having to double know to keep it secure. Fabric does seem extra loose as well. Would have been good to have a extra tie down spots over the blanket to help keep it secure. When I'm trying to pull up the blanket I often only grab the cover and not the blanket its self.I guess its worth the extra investment if you are going for the blanket, to help keep the blanket its self cleaner and from being washed as often.

I definitely recommend buying the matching duvet cover for the YNM weighted blankets. I can’t imagine the blanket itself can be washed since they’re up to 20 lbs. I got the cotton cover because I bought the 55x82” cotton 20lb. blanket, which is a bizarre size but perfect for me to wrap up in. With just a sheet and the blanket I found it way to warm (I’m alsway too hot at night). With the cotton cover it’s been perfect and no excessive hot flashes at night. It does take forever to get the cover on and properly tied, so I wanted to buy a second cover to switch out, but they are out of stock.

I like the YnM Bamboo Duvet Cover and Weighted Blanket very much! I bought it to improve my sleeping and it definitely has. I would certainly recommend this product. Be sure to buy the YnM Bamboo Duvet Cover that accompanies the YnM Weighted Blanket. It has special ties so that the blanket does not slip around. It would be very difficult to use the weighted blanket with just an ordinary duvet cover. It would bunch up.

These products are definitely made for each other. The attachment points are of very durable construction, are are twice as wide as other duvet covers I've used. My daughter especially liked the colorful puzzle shapes, as well as the soft nubs on the underside of the cover. I highly recommend this product for anyone who has a child with autism or sensory processing disorders.

Bought the cotton duvet cover for my son's weighted blanket that he received for Chirstmas. His blanket was not the same brand but this one fit perfectly. The ties used to attach to the blanket are very sturdy. His blanket did not have anyplace to tie but I was able to sew some loops to match the locations of the ties and works great. This cover has 8 tie down spots so really attaches well. As for putting on blanket, just turn cover inside out, lay blanket on-top, tie the blanket and then turn right side out again...very easy. I also washed and dried on the lowest heat setting, did not shrink at all and cover is very soft cotton. Very happy with purchase

Tactile Bliss! I bought it for a weighted blanket from a different company and the blanket is two inches longer than this cover but I loved the design and fabric of this cover better than any I found elsewhere! It works wonderfully even with the measurement discrepancy! Wouldn’t trade it! It washes VERY well and it’s woven tight enough that I had time to wipe a spill up with minimal leakage through to the blanket but it’s woven loose enough that it breathes and helps keep me at the perfect temp, snow or sun! It’s awesome and the print and color go with everything. I’ll look to see if they have other Colors in this bumpy minky side and smooth lattice print side. It’s awesome and truly tactile heaven!

The problem with this cover it’s not soft enough to be directly on the skin. My weigthed blanket is softer on my skin compare to the cover. I don’t know if I will get use to it or maybe it will become softer after a couple of cycle in the washing machine. But I was a little disappointed. My day to day t-shirt are softer compare to the cover. Maybe I will return to using my weighted blanket without any protection. But for the positive part it’s easy to install and keep my weighted blanket in place perfectly.

Fabric quality is fine but two big complaints: stitches are too far apart for something like this; secondly, I had to buy twill tape and make longer ties. They were far too short to tie without making a knot that can never be undone to wash the cover. The company should fix this big problem. Also, I wish there were more attractive colours available; the company clearly makes them but the only colour that ever seemed to be available was grey.

Not the softest cotton duvet cover, I use a different sheet under it to sleep under. Also a bit big - I got the matching weighted blanket from the same distributer/brand but there's still ~half a foot of space around the edges. This results in the blanket shifting around more than expected and messing up the weight distribution. Also hard to pull and rearrange the blanket itself, since a lot of the times I end up just pulling the cover. This is with the corner/side ties attached.The weighted blanket itself is a good weight. I think the glass beads move around a lot more than expected and than I want. It usually gets pushed more towards my feet while sleeping, then I have to rearrange/redistribute every morning. The blanket is really soft (but I have a cover on it) and cute.
