An essential item you hope to never NEED
It's louder than I can yell and at a more audible pitch. In addition I won't get "horse" blowing a whistle. I hope I never need it though. It's primarily for emergencies, i.e. lost, injured, et cetera. Likely to be placed at the end of some pace count beads which will then be tied onto a compass. These items will be kept "at hand" with some other essentials for the outdoors.
