AncolMuddy Paws Stormguard Coat Hi Vis Medium (Length 40cm/ to fit girth 52-68cm) Hi-Vis Yellow

These coats are our favourite, having tried various others. Lovely warm fleece lining and now a new little zipped hole in the back so you can attach the lead to a harness underneath the coat if needed (there is already a hole for attaching a lead to the collar). Excellent! We bought a Medium for our rescue female Kerry Blue terrier, who is 16kg. The coat measures 41cm from the base of the collar to the tail end, and the girth (measured around the outside of the coat) extends to 75cm as there is large velcro portion on the strap to make it tighter or looser. So it should be fine for a doggy with a girth of maximum 70cm and a minimum of around 50cm.The coat comes with elasticated back leg straps but we always cut them and tie them under the rear portion of the belly instead, as that seems more comfy for the dogs.These coats wash really well in the machine, and last for years!

1st one delivered was faulty, the zip did not open to attach the lead through. 2nd one delivered was faulty again zip did not open to attach lead through. Already returned the 1st item today via Hermes, 2nd one arrived today and tomorrow I have to return it via a Hermes drop off store again. Can't get hold of anyone at Amazon to discuss the matter as everything is now done via automated chat messages. Don't think I'll stay a prime member at this rate!

Bought a medium for my puggle based off other customer reviews but was too long. He hated the leg straps so I had to let them hang loose. After 5 hours on a mountain my dogs armpits was sore from the coat chafing and all of the Chest stitching has come undone rendering it unwearable. I was willing to buy another one at a smaller size until I seen the stitching as I was happy with the waterproof outer, inner fleece lining and hi vis reflection.

The yellow colour is nice and bright helping my dog to always be seen. The fleece is so soft and comfy she feels lovely and warm when I take it off of her. It has definitely helped keep her warm during these cold and frosty days. My dog is a small beagle and we got the medium size and it fits perfectly. In the past some coats have been quite restrictive but this one allows her to still comfortably run around.

Goid value for money. This hi-vis coat is perfect for keeping sight of our spaniel in the woods. It is water proof so helps to keep chest and back dry. Ours gets extremely muddy on a regular basis so the coat is quite marked which I guess is unavoidable. All in all I would definately buy another one.

We got a medium size for our show cocker spaniel. She is 12kgs and this just fits but only just. Be careful with sizing. We measured her the way they advised. It's just long enough but is pretty warm and rain proof. She doesn't like the rear leg strap though, so we don't use them. Stays on well enough

So many dog coats are fastened with Velcro which is so unsuitable for any curly poodle or poodle cross because it attaches to their fur and is painful to remove. Whilst this coat is also secured by Velcro the style means it goes across the main fabric of the top coat and gets nowhere near the fur - very pleased with the fit.

This is a really good dog coat. Practically glow in the dark yellow with hi vis trim for winter evening walkies.Waterproof with warm fleecy lining, thick belly band with velvro fastening. My dog loves wearing his muddypaws coat.
