TYCLeft Headlight Assembly Compatible with 2005-2011 Toyota Tacoma

Looks like factory originals. Well packaged, decent price.

The headlight assembly was a perfect replacement for my 2010 Toyota. After watching an online video, I was able to replace the headlight myself. The price was a much lower than a buying from a Toyota dealer parts department. A great savings for a diy person.

I replaced both sides as my lens were totally clouded up to the point that it was unsafe to drive at night. The install was not too much of a problem as I used the youtube video: [...] A couple things that I will add is that video did not mention that the grill needs to come straight up after you remove the clips and bolts My grill would not lift and I did not want to break any parts. On Tacoma World I found out that the grill has to be lifted exactly straight up and then it comes out easily. I would also recommend buying the plastic clips as they get destroyed when you remove, especially on a 10- year-old truck. A door panel clip tool is very handy in removing the clips. I had no issues with alignment. I actually installed one side then drove in the dark to see the difference. The new one did aim differently, but not enough to cause any issue. Much brighter! 4 stars for now to see how they hold up.

These installed easily with all of the holes and edges lining up perfectly and the light shines nicely. I"ve had them on for over a month and we'll see how they do over the long haul.

Very easy to install and looks good

This headlight fit fine, but the reflector in front of the main headlight bulb uses a nut to be held in place, a little different from my Toyota headlight. This was a problem because apparently whoever assembled my headlight didn't tighten it all the way and after I went through the trouble of installing this headlight it came loose and fell down in the headlight housing. I had to take the whole housing back out and fiddle around with the piece with a screwdriver until it fell in place and then tighten it down properly. These headlights are formed well and pretty much indistinguishable from the factory, just make sure that everything is tightened down and there before you go through the trouble of installing. To check the part I'm talking about, you have to take the circular rubber boot in back off and there should be a little nut holding the heading reflector piece in place, make sure that thing is tight! Well, tight for that size of nut, don't strip it...

After about 5 years, the headlights on my '08 became cloudy on the inside and really looked terrible. I would have replaced them some time ago, but the cost was prohibitive, so I put up with it. These were exactly what I was looking for. Quality appears to be at least as good as the OEM lights for a quarter of the price. Install was not to much of a PITA. The outer screw was the only fastener that was at all tricky to reach. I managed to save all of the plastic clips. Total time on the job to replace both was an hour or less. Getting all of the bulbs with the assembly was a bonus.

Was good. Seemed to fit not sure how long it will last yet. Bulbs included.

Good fit. Pretty much identical to OEM. The wiring harness from the truck to the headlight was a bit snug.
