Understanding the Human Being: The Importance of the First Three Years of Life

Even though this book is written in 1991, I feel like the information is timeless. It is not outdated because humans have been raising our young for thousands of years. It gave me an outlook about babies that I never had before. I was a clueless soon to be mom and I feel like the insight in this book is priceless. It makes mention to Montessori Method and my research about MM is what brought me to this book, I am very happy I found it. I refer back to it as my baby grows to refresh my memory.

My daughter's Montessori school told us about this book. It is amazing. I read it after my second child was born and really ought to re-read it. If memory serves me correctly, the author is an Italian medical doctor with a Montessori background. The book offers beautiful insights, gives good practical advice for giving baby a strong start in life and helps a parent to look with even more wonder upon the gift of a child! I have given it as a gift b/c I got so much out of it myself.

orientation is toward researchers or educators so i throughly enjoyed it. great information i haven’t seen in years.i thot the price was steep, but well worth the content!

It is a nice book. Although the original text is written long ago, it is recent as a information nowadays. This book is unique in that that every sentence is important and has a information that has been gathered and extracted from many observations.
