Jaeger 19 mm TIGHTSPOT Ratchet Wrench with Precision Movement and Hardened, Polished Steel for Projects with Metric Tight Spaces

Outstanding quality, great fit, and works flawlessly. I used the tool to remove and install a K&N oil filter in a very tight area. The 89 tooth ratchet was precise in its movement and was a lifesaver in turning the nut. I tried a 72 tooth of another brand and it had too much loose travel between turns. The Jaeger Tightspot 1” ratchet wrench got the job done.

I searched for a long while to find my next set of wrenches. Usually I go with Proto’s, but thought I’d try a new brand since they are all made in China or Taiwan anyways. I was tired of buying a brand’s name. Kind of like Frosted Flakes and the generic brand…the only difference is the price due to the name. All that being said, I bought a set of these in standard and metric. To start, the carrying cases that come with them are really nice. Great for storage and keeping them organized. The ratchet part of the wrench is clean and perfect for limited space. They have a good weight to them as well and feel very solid. Well made. Now for a few less than perfect parts. Many of the reviews are correct, they come with a protective layer of oil on them. Like they were packaged right off the assembly line. Not a big deal. Nothing a rag can’t fix. Many of them have surface scuffs on them as well. Not an issue since they are gonna used for work and not put up for display. Just wish I was the one that could have done the scuffing. lol! Like a few others stated, I did have a few that were scratched pretty bad with a rust in them. Those were the only ones that I was worried about. Just as I was about to reach out to the seller, they beat me to it with an email explaining the warranty on the items and their guarantee. That said a lot about their customer service, so I replied to them and explained the situation I received. After sending them a few pictures, they took care of me immediately. They responded quickly and were very professional. The replacements came fast and were perfect! I will definitely be recommending this company to others.

I needed a good set of metric ratcheting wrenches for some car repairs. These Jaegers were reasonably priced and the quality seems to be good. I had to crank on some tough, seized nuts and these wrenches engaged tightly, didn’t slip and the ratcheting mechanism worked smoothly. Hoping to get a lot of years out of these wrenches!

For the price, I haven't come across another set that goes from 1/4" to 1". I use these daily at work and so far they work just as well as the more expensive brands like snap on and have a good "feel" to them. Took mine out of the case b/c it's just a cheap plastic holder and they all fit in my smaller top box shallow drawer. I'm a stronger then average gent and when I tighten my hardware I TIGHTEN and haven't gotten any slippage or breakage on the ratchets yet.Only complaint for me is that I can't couple a set adding a full Metric to the cart along with midget wrenches for the minor sizes.For the home mechanic, this is worthy and for the full time mechanic this definitely gets my thumbs up based on price, set size, warranty and function.

Ordered this set for a family member for his birthday and he loved it. My son had ordered the same set and said it was a good quality set for an affordable price.

I bought this to keep in my truck. I have a bike rack, and I need to tighten and change the bike rack configuration for different bikes. Most of the parts need a 1/2 inch wrench. This fits my needs perfectly as it is compact and ratcheting at the box end. It does not have a switch for direction, you simply flip it over for tightening or loosening.This is a nice low cost alternative to expensive wrenches. It looks, feels and works great. The seller has a nice warranty and has personally reached out with a list of his warranty and customer support. I applaud Jaeger for that. Seldom do you get so well informed of the warranty/return policy from a seller.This is a great value for the price. The tool fills my needs, and this wrench will get lots of use. I hope it holds up and lives up to the sellers claims of quality. I give it 5 stars.
