Excellent Dual Band DMR / Analog Radio
This is my first DMR radio thus I had a bit of a learning curve. One suggestion for those starting out is to throw away the programming cable that comes with the radio. It is just a straight USB to mini USB pass thru. So any quality one will work. The biggest problem I had with this radio was trying to configure the settings with the included cable. Another suggestion is if you need help configuring this radio (and you will if you are not previously acquainted with DMR) is to get online and do your research or find someone that knows about DMR. It is nothing like programming analog radios and that is not TYT’s fault it is just the nature of DMR.Another small issue is that the manual is next to useless. TYT’s version of English is severely lacking. Other than those two relatively minor things, this radio is pretty awesome and for the price....Wow!!!Once properly configured, this radio works amazingly well as a great little VHF/UHF dual band radio working either analog or digital DMR.

Worth the wait
I got this radio merely off the reviews on several ham websites and my Elmer KH7MS who has one. Easy to install, gives you a lot of options on screws, etc. The system is solid, not plastic but real metal. the Microphone really surprised me how durable it feels in my hand. One problem as another review stats is the programming cable. I've not been able to get it to work, thus my radio is NOT programmed as of this post, however, I have been able to utilize the Analog thru on-screen programming and works great. DMR on the other hand, not so lucky (yet).the speaker is much louder than I expected which saved me money on buying an external one so that is a great positive. Lots of videos online to show how to operate and program (Once you get the problem with the cable resolved). I've been saving up for this radio for 6 months, and am NOT disappointed, but more excited than when I got my MD-380.

Excellent Radio
Very nice DMR radio, a bit difficult to program so I definitely recommend using the programming software from TYT and yes it's in English

Some good and some bad.
The radio is great but the directions are minimal. There really isn't a manual. You will probably need some help figuring this radio out. Its very clear and loud though. I get good signal reports. I had to buy a USB cable

Radio failed to work properly.
I have done a review but you did not like it so all I will say is the radio which is now back at Amazon as it is faulty and did not work.
