Good customer service; can find one that works as advertised
Received the 2-pack the first time and used one of them on a 1 hp water pump for my waterfall feature I have in the backyard. I noticed some of the issues that the other reviewers saw where it would turn on and off randomly. I contacted the company, asking for advice and they sent me out not just 1, but 2 of these again and both of the 2nd batch work just fine. Should note only the 1 didn't work for me originally. Didn't have to send back the faulty one; they sent the 2nd batch for free at their cost. I'd say worth a shot for those with some doubt, since they sent out replacements at no cost.

Dead batteries in remote/when replaced with new batteries good, but directional only
Both remotes arrived with dead batteries, which made troubleshooting difficult, and for the high price, it should have fresh batteries. Once new batteries in, the range was good, but you have to aim the right end of the remote directly to where the receiver is located (not omnidirectional).

Not independent remote codes
Each remote works both units. What good is that? I want to control each separately. Not have them both turn on at the same time !

These randomly go on during the day no mater what setting you have them on.
For the price of these you would think they'd work, but they really just cost you more money because they have a mind of their owe sort of speak. They go on during the middle of the day. I have to keep putting them off. What the heck?

Doesn't work as advertised.
Dealing with the Company who provided this item was very good. The item itself was a bust. I received the first item and out of the box it didn't work well (the item would turn on by itself no matter what setting I had it in) so I returned it for an exchange. I got the exchange almost the next day, which was terrific; however, it didn't work either (same problem) so it will be returned also for a refund.

Worked 1 time and then didnt work as programmed at all

easy to use & sturdy
these were great for the holiday season... the remotes were convenient if you decided you didn't want the lights to run as usual- you just clicked off instead of messing with the timer then resetting it the next day

Do not buy!
Photo cell does not work. Will not turn on or off as according to description.
