I broke my stock ps4 fan. I was thinking that it overheated and when i took a look that seemed to be the case. So I bought this fan kit but I did buy an extra screw and thermal paste you might need but again this kit comes with both so its up to you. It works fantastically and it even makes my ps4 quieter after a few months. One thing I do recommend is that you deep clean your ps4 and especially the fan area. Dust can make the fan over work so make sure to clean it at least every few months. TLDR this works good and I would recommend just clean the fan area from time to time.

Horrible! Save yourself the time and grief. They’re selling a PlayStation 4 fan that’s not even compatible with the system. It doesn’t connect and I’ve searched for ways to connect and only found customers saying they had to cut and splice the cable. Unsatisfied is an understatement. The worst experience I’ve ever had on here

Replacement fan for a PS4. Exact replacement, very quiet, moves a lot of cooling air! Came with the correct Torx bit and thermal compound. Ordered on Saturday and had it on Monday, quick and easy install.

This kit was really well done, EXCEPT!The connector for the fan to motherboard is completely wrong. However the work around isn't that bad.I simply cut the wires and connector from used fan. Stripped about 1/4" to 1/2" of insulation off the ends. Then removed the pins from the new fan connector. Used some small diameter heat shrink tubing, cut to length of about 3/4" to 1". Twisted the ends of the old connections and slid them in the respective pins of the new fan. After crimping and adding a bit of solder for good measure. Slid the heat shrink into place and heated to set.The fan is functional and quite with no issues so far.I do recommend this product but just don't be surprised by this hiccup or any possible others that might appear.Note: The security torx drivers include are a nice addition however the thermal paste was the white cheap looking type. Like thick lithium grease. I used it and haven't had any issues. But I would feel better if I had obtained the metallic type.
