With the regular niggling problems of broken blades, broken plastic covers, leaking jars, replacement of the jar components such as plates and pins(shafts) for over 1.5 years since the purchase of the mixie, the motor too gave up with a burnout. In the absence of a recognised service setup, the mixie was taken to a Shop repairing service. On opening, we were astonished to see the quality of the motor casing which had holes and dents. Moreover, the motor windings were of Aluminium rather than Copper ( we are not aware what other manufacturers use as we did not face any motor burnout issues on any mixies during last over 50 years). The mixie plastic body was also found cracked when the bottom cover was removed. Such products need to be sold on the roadside and certainly not on an Amazon platform. Amazon need to seriously think about its quality policy, as one says that any product puchased from Amazon (if purchased from Amazon) it is from Amazon, rather than the actual make. I suppose if such a product was sold in USA, Amazon would be sued for certain.

Very poor quality build .... broken while i got .. returned..... very poor packing... not even bubble wrap.... no stryo foam balls inside....
