I don’t typically write reviews, but after spending an inordinate amount of time researching features of more expensive options and reading countless reviews, I feel obligated to share my own experience so that others might know how well this instrument performs. Highly recommended for anyone looking for an efficient and reliable device to measure humidity in multiple environments.

UPDATE: Seller contacted me immediately to rectify this situation and actually handled this well beyond my expectations. A new unit was provided that performs exceptionally well and I am very pleased with its performance. I would not hesitate to buy from this seller again.On first use, humidity reading seemed low so unit was checked in a 75% humidity chamber; unit barely reached 60%. Looking in the senor head, the chip indicated the number "11" and the edges of the chip showed a soldered connection which is representative of the lower cost, lower accuracy SHT11. This unit was advertised as having an SHT75 sensor and is the reason why it was purchased. The attached picture shows an SHT75, a sensor I purchased some time ago. Note the number "75" and the lack of soldered connections. I am returning this unit, but will buy again if seller can visually determine the replacement unit has a sensor marked "75" and appears similar to the attached picture.
