Goodmans Heritage II Portable Stereo (Digital Audio Broadcast (DAB),MP3 Playback,Bluetooth Pairing)

This radio was only used in the bedroom and then rarely. It however only lasted from October to March, simply not good enough. Have always bought excellent Goodmans products in the past. This is not in the same class, very bad.

Bought for kitchen. Feels weighty and well made considering it's made of plastic, finish looks surprisingly high quality, like metal. I live in a concrete-made building and often devices have real trouble picking up signals but it found all the stations quickly. Bought as it can be used with batteries or mains. Sound quality is great for a little radio and isn't demished when volume is turned up.

Looks good in the kitchen and a great sound for something so small

I am so impressed with this little radio. It has surpassed my expectations in every way. I bought it as a lowly bathroom radio, but its sound is so much superior to the Bush retro radio in my kitchen. I can't swap them because the Bush is mains only.The buttons give a positive click, and for the price, I can't fault it.Quick update. I now have three of these around the house, two running on rechargeable batteries and the third on mains in my workshop. All three operating perfectly.

I haven't actually used it very often and first started noticing that the display stopped working but it still came on and I was okay with that. But now it is difficult to switch on and now I am really aggravated. I don't expect to pay for something like this and it only lasts less than a couple of months!!!!!

My daughter sleeps alot better with some background noise in her bedroom. Her DAB radio recently broke. So figured I'd buy a new one. This one was a great price so figured why not give it a go. The sound can't take loud volumes without affecting quality. But as I said that's ok. Its for quiet background noise for my daughter. Very easy to use, just plug in and go. I think ours automatically picked up absolute radio as soon as we switched on, and that's what we've kept. Great purchase. Definitely recommend.

The design and quality of sound is good. However, it chews through batteries at an eye-watering rate. The four AA batteries have to be replaced every 20 hours or so compared with about 90 hours in my now-expired 36-year-old Sony. This makes the Goodmans a very expensive purchase.

Smashing little radio ordered as a replacement for our kitchen one that recently broke. Plug in and away you go. Nice that it has an on/off button - which our previous DAB one didn't! - and volume perfectly sufficient for my purpose. Instructions a bit lacking and no idea how I managed to programme one station into it but couldn't get a second in. Oh well. I only use it with AV power so not needed to try it out on batteries. For £30, if it breaks in a year or two, I'll throw it out and buy another one. Good choice for a budget DAB radio.
