Almay Smart Shade CC Luminous Primer, 1 Fl Oz, Clear

I really like this primer. It has a nice feel, goes on well and just adds a bit of color but not much. Could not find it locally. Will buy again.

This goes on smooth & feels silky

I love this primer! First off my skin is sensitive and leans towards oil/normal. I work 12hr shifts and typically after 4-5hrs the make up on my nose is breaking up, rubbed off, etc. Part of it might be that is it is a water based primer. I didn’t realize the primer ( not water based) I used to use with my makeup ( which is water based) were fighting each other. With that being said, I’ve used this now for a couple of months and every time I am happy with how my makeup applies, looks and stays. I worked 12hrs and my makeup was still going strong! It says it’s a luminous primer. I find it’s not really shimmery, which is fine by me. At most it’s slightly pearlescent. It does color correct and adapt to your skin color. I deal with redness sometimes with my skin sensitivity. This works so well to conceal it. I’ve got a darker/tan complexion. I was nervous that this would look whitish on my face. However, it blends in and I’ve actually worn the primer by itself a few times. I plan on buying it again. I love this primer!

I’ve used his programmer for years because I have sensitive skin and is the only thing that works with my skin. I found it on Amazon for literally half the price that you can get it in drugstore. But I’m a little concerned because it’s thinner than it normally is wondering if it was tampered with and water down or if the actual brand started cutting it and watering it down, or it being sent through the mail affected it. Not quite sure.

Does everything it is supposed to do. Spreads smoothly and evenly and is nonallergenic.

It was way to light and made me look ashy

I am very hard to please and I LOVE this CC primer, though it is far more than a primer. I have been searching since BBs became popular for one that I can wear for truly fair/porcelain skin without success. I wish I had all that money back! This has been my savior. I actually wear nothing over it at all. Not at all greasy. I have dry skin and will sometimes gently pat a small bit of moisturizer over it about halfway through the day. It is light weight and a very pretty porcelain pink in color that soon blends into the skin until you can't tell you're wearing anything at all. It has a smoothing quality that I adore. There is no detectable smell (to me, and I have a very sensitive nose) and the slight luminescence is pleasing to the eye, but not obvious. I highly recommend this for very fair people.

I missed the return window by the time I gave up on this product hoping it would be better.Maybe it won’t burn for others and it needs a particular application of toppers but I could not make it work.
