My 3 year old asked for a rainbow hippo from Santa 2 days before Christmas. This toy was available. Arrived next day. She is absolutely in love with it. 4 stars tho because the on patch over the button is sewn upside down. Very soft though. She can read that much and thinks its funny. She has her own misfit toy.-----Sadly returned. A waste of time... it was cute thoFeb 3, Update. I had to return it. The lights stopped working. We changed the batteries. Nothing. Ordered a replacement and the patch was on rights side up this time but on the other side of the paw. Our little one didn't notice but the button inside the new item was poorly put together and I had to press it repeatedly for it to turn on.

Very cute. Good color cycling and product. Has 30 min timer to preserve battery life. Not to big or small. Would buy again

My daughter is scared of the dark, and we got this to help. I love how the lights are the perfect brightness, without being to bright for sleeping. It's a great stuffed animal for a 4 year old to sleep with. My only complaint is that the battery pack is cheaply made, and the little button (where you turn the lights on and off) keeps moving out of the arm. We have to open the hippo up and put the button back.I'd still buy it again.

Not worth it. I bought 2 of them and one quit working within a week.. I also bought a bear that did the same thinkin maybe it was a lemon of a product and that one quit working within a week.. now I know all of them are a lemon of a product. So don’t waste you’re money! Cheap product for to much money.. the idea of these animals is great but that’s all it adds up to ..now I have one sad toddler

I love these glow toys. I have purchased 4 so far for my kids. They have soft, bright lights that change color. Very fluffy and good for small children or babies.

My dads favorite Christmas song was I want a hippo for Christmas. Since he passed 7 years ago we have gifted a different family member a hippo every year in his memory. This year it's my oldest son who gets one. Since he is a truck driver I chose the one that lights up so he could use it for a night light and remember his grandpa at the same time.

My motherloved that song when she was little and joked that she never did get one for Christmas so this year we changed that. It far exceeded my expectations and she loved it! It was soft and the colors are great. Would definitely buy again.
