DEWALT20V Max Cordless Drill/Driver Kit, 2 Batteries and Charger Included (DCD771C2)

It’s a DeWalt drill “supposedly” but feels and looks cheap compared to what I’m used to using DeWalt wise. My pops uses almost nothing but this brand but to be honest I think this isn’t much better than the Ryobi that my son had a few years ago. It works and came with 2 batteries, a charger and carrying bag for less than 75$ so I’m not complaining. They could have threw in a 4ah battery vs the 2 it came with but I don’t need it for large jobs and the ones it came with should be fine (although if it came with 1 4ah vs the 2 it would be a better drill imho) but so is a brushless vs this one, so there’s that. I would recommend so far and would buy it again for the price I paid.

My wife bought this for me in November 2024, as a Christmas gift, which I just opened today, May 10, 2025. The first battery charged as expected and the drill worked as advertised. When I tried to charge the second battery, while the indicator suggested the battery was fully charged, it was not. It was dead/defective and not able to be charged. I called DeWalt Customer Service, since the Amazon window for return/replacement closed in January. After explaining the situation to the representative, she offered to send me a replacement battery. That, folks, is great customer service!Well done!

Great product! Well worth the money and very durable. I should have made this purchase a long time ago. Very handy are the house and out in the field. The first time I used this produce was at a storage pin. I lost the key to the pad lock and needed to remove a hardened steel pad lock. After drilling three different sized holes (moving up in bit sizes), the lock came off and the drill did it with very easily.Again great value for the money, very portable to use and the quality is excellent! Five stars all the way around.

Someone told me this was designed for woman in mind but when I saw the videos I could not believe how many men use this power tool. I received mine the same day I ordered it and I love the balance and weight. I'm using mine for around the home.

I replaced an older, obsolete 12V cordless (NiMH batteries) with this 20V model. My use of electric drills is light duty overall around the house and to raise and lower the stabilizer jacks on our travel trailer.I'm very pleased with the speed performance at the higher setting and the torque at the lower setting. My only criticism relates to the kit components, specifically, the 1.5Ah capacity of the batteries provided. They are just adequate for short drilling projects. Just beware when you plunk your $ down for this kit, be prepared to order one or two higher batteries with higher capacities.

I recent purchased a garden auger bit and found that the shaft was too large for my hand drill that has the 3/8 inch chuck. The print on the auger box indicated .5 inch chuck. I searched the web for a hand drill with a half inch chuck and found this hand drill on Amazom.com. I was given the option to purchase it new or used. As it was going to be a single use for my gardens, I chose a used hand drill. I ordered it and receive it in two days. The garden auger and this hand drill were made for each other. This hand drill was an excellent purchase.
