Q: Dimensions of steamer?

The steamer is 31cm wide by 20 cm deep. In use with all three levels, it is 41cm high, and in storage it is 30cm high

Q: does this come with a recipe book

Hi, it doesn't come with a recipe book but you don't need one. Simply exchange steaming for boiling vegetables and if cooking fish wrap in silver foil and cook for same time.

Q: could I cook a meat pudding in this?

The steamer has a maximum setting of 1 hour but needs to be topped up with water after 30 minutes of steaming. A meat pudding needs about one and a half to two hours steaming so you would need to keep topping water up every 30 minutes and also reset the time after an hour. The instruction manual only gives timings for vegetables, couscous, rice and pasta and boneless chicken fillets, small chicken joints and salmon/cod loin steaks. Hope this is helpful to you.

Q: Does it have a side spout or access when you have to refill the water? Or do you have to lift the baskets up to do that? Thanks in advance

You wi have to lift the baskets up to refill the water, but I've not had to do that as the water reservoir seems to be sufficient even for an hour of steaming. Hope this helps you
