Using this dac through hdmi arc from my tv to svs pb1000 pro to edifier s2000mkiii....previously used headphone out from my tv...a definite improvement can be seen...stereo imaging improved,vocals and instruments are balanced and bass is accurate and tight....in movies everything is perfect now I can watch late-night also because of this dac even at low volume everything is clearly appreciated speech,background music, bassThnx to fosi audio for providing this zd3 dac for this price...a worthy upgrade if you are using tv out and active speakers with no bass management like me

This Dac is good value for money. I am using it in Bypass mode connected to an integrated amp. All the connectivity features work fine - BT, OPT, USB. I had even connected it to TV hdmi arc and used for a few days, no problems at all in functionality but due to my own personal choice I prefer using the optical out from TV to the Dac. I am using this dac with a 2 channel stereo set up (integrated amplifier bookshelf speakers). The tonal signature of the stock fitted Op amps is decent enough with balance of all tones and there is a very slight tilt towards the mids and the highs which is good in a way. I also have two more products from Fosi and this is the one I like most. Overall I am satisfied with this Dac's performance.

Connected this as a pre-amp to my amp, powering a pair towers and subwoofer. Totally lived up to the hype. Excellent product and quality. Even tho it has Bluetooth input as well, it’s best use is with hdmi (arc) / optical or even USB.

The media could not be loaded. The reasons for buying was that it has hdmi arc, optical, Trc, r a and blue tooth ports to integrate tv speakers subwoofer and mobile through blue tooth but unfortunately the blue tooth doesn't work smoothly with neiher iPhone nor android. I asked to replace thinking it would a piece problem but they didn't have a replacement policy nor they picked the material for refund after raising refund request. The unit comes with remote to change for different modes but doesnt have physical buttons to change the mode if you loose the remote. Extremely bad experience.

My musical experience is now redefined. I used so many DACs like Khadas Tone Board, Topping E30 II etc. This DAC is exceptional. Every notes are not only Audible, they are almost visible. Price is also damn cheap.

Good combination with ZA3 power amplifier.
