There are many similar locks that looks like this lock, all in various colors many with different brand name etc. Don’t be fooled they are the same thing all from the same manufacturer but with different brand name. They are all useless, I have tried them all. This lock is very easy to set up and change its combination without accidentally locking yourself out which means you can’t unlock resulting to cutting of the lock. Trust me it will happen one day when you least expected it. This lock is relatively secure as unfortunately there is nothing like 100 percent security with any combination lock. The setting lining is at the front which makes it very easy to lock or unlock this lock unlike the rest similar ones which are on the side which makes it very difficult to see the character. This lock is king of them all, solid quality and absolutely beautiful piece of engineering. They fit very well just make sure get the right size for your purposes as they comes in different sizes. You don’t need to use any force because although this lock is very robust yet they are very easy on your hand even a six years old or the old folks with weak fingers will find the mechanism and usage relatively easy. I have tried other combinations locks and I am very happy to finally find a proper lock that is fit for purpose

Good lock, easy to set code, and a decent German brand. A bit of research showed that this is one of the few combi locks that has a decent design and manufacturing that isn’t easy to ‘pick’, whereas most others are very easy to pick , and that recommendation and info came from a security box supplier so I trust it. There are hundreds of others out there, but as a general rule, if the brand name is a made up word that is unpronounceable- don’t buy it! Abus is a trusted brand in security and safety and this is the genuine item.

Been using this padlock on a van door for about months and the mechanism is still easy to use and smooth despite being out in all weather during that time.

Ok so I only bought it for a gym locker but so glad I payed a bit more as this lock is quality. Finished well with no sharp edges, smooth operation and easy to read markings. Recommended.

The opposite end of the hoop to the combination isn’t locked into anything. Be careful when you lock it, I’ve come back and found it open twice. Feels cheaply made and not hard to work out the combination.
