ONE OF THE BEST OILS ON THE MARKET
Valvoline's synthetic and non-synthetic racing oils are in the top 3-5 oils on the market. They certainly are the best value going! I've used both motor oils (20w/50 non-syn for break-in and syn for competition) for my 1967 BSA race bike and couldn't be happier. I've spent hours researching oils and they have among the best blend of zinc, phosphorus, ZDDP, base oils, and psi wear protection of any oil without having excess ZDDP that can cause corrosion and reduce engine longevity. No need for ZDDP additives with Valvoline's racing oils. They are the recommended oil of leading British motorcycle suppliers and are excellent for vintage engines with flat tappet cam protection. I was willing to spend whatever I needed for motor oil to protect my engine. But, it really isn't necessary to spend 2X - 4X more and still not get the same protection. I know this sounds like a paid commercial (which it isn't). You can do your own homework or you can listen to what others who depend on excellent oil for their engines have to say.

Excellent, as advertised
The right pick for a classic car

super slick
I run this exclusively in my Ducati V4R. Since the bike shares engine oil and gearbox oil, I’ve seen significantly smoother shifting than other oils I’ve tried. Be cautious of use in bikes with wet clutches, I have a dry clutch so I am not concerned. Excellent value and cleanliness too. The blue color is also easier to see on my engine case’s sightglass, so that’s an added benefit:

Great oil for race/street motors nitrous motor will benefit from this oil
Oil works great in modified engines. By modified I mean bigger cam, forged pistons etc.Note that the EPA is removing zinc from all oils even syn. oil are not as good as the were a few years ago.The heavy weight may not be good for stock tight bearing clearances.

Use in Harley Twin Cam Engines
In my experience this is a better oil in the Twin Cam engine than the V-Twin version, which is basically the same oil as the V-Twin oil without the friction modifier added for the wet clutch. Being dyed blue helps see it on the dipstick and would likely help identify the fluid quickly in case of a leak. I cannot find a better price than Amazon and buy cases of this stuff.
